Chapter 1185 - Chapter 1185 Chapter 1179 Informing Chu Molin_1
Chapter 1185: Chapter 1179: Informing Chu Molin_1 Chapter 1185: Chapter 1179: Informing Chu Molin_1 Qin Xue told Chu Molin everything she had discussed with Qing Zhu.
“Are you planning to sell off our son?” Chu Molin never expected such a scheme from his wife.
“I first proposed she treat us as foster parents because we don’t have a daughter and Qing Zhu doesn’t know who the father of her child is. Qing Yuran is fatherless, too. I didn’t know Qing Zhu would have such a plan.
But don’t worry, I made it clear with her. They should first start dating and if they like each other, they can be together. No one should be forced if they don’t feel it’s right.”
Although Qin Xue wanted them to date, she still prioritized their happiness.
“Alright, as long as you know what you’re doing.” As a devoted husband, how could Chu Molin blame his wife?
The two of them returned home, laughing and chatting.
The situation in the room was quite serious. The messy scene was nauseating, yet the five people engrossed in it were oblivious.
“Dad, what are you up to?” Qin Xue and Chu Molin noticed their father tinkering with something as soon as they got home.
“It’s springtime, time for spring farming. So, I’m preparing.” Qin Lei smiled and explained when he saw his daughter and son-in-law.
“Dad, is there a way to avoid farming that land?”
Qin Xue thought farming was hard work and not profitable. If it could be handled differently, her parents could focus on their business.
“You can pay to opt out of it.”
Qin Lei shared, although he felt it might stand out the wrong way doing so.
“Is it expensive? If it’s not, you and mom should pay to opt out.”
Qin Xue thought her parents didn’t have enough time between their business and farming. They could only choose one.
“It’s not expensive, but I feel it’s not quite right to do so. That’s why I was thinking of farming.”
Qin Lei didn’t want their household to stand out too much in the village.
“Dad, the moment you and mom decided to start a business, we were already different from the other families. Regardless of whether you’re fine with it, others see us differently.”
Qin Xue knew well how different her family was now and that her parents had to face this reality whether they liked it or not.
“I know that, but I want our lifestyle to be as similar to the villagers’ as possible.”
Qin Lei understood Qin Xue’s point, but the idea of being too conspicuous in such a tight-knit community made him want to keep a low profile.
“Dad, stop worrying about all of this. As long as you and mom handle our family affairs well, it doesn’t matter what the others think. You can’t please everyone, just like you’re not USD that everyone loves.”
Qin Xue knew what her father was worried about. However, the world has both rich and poor, and their family was just starting off. If they were reduced to such concerns, they wouldn’t progress far.
“Alright, I get it. I’ll pack up these things and speak with the village chief about paying on behalf of our family.”
Upon reflection, Qin Lei agreed with his daughter’s perspective.
“Good, where’s mom?” Qin Xue asked about her mother.
“She’s at home.” While clearing up his tools, Qin Lei answered his daughter’s question.
“I’ll go check what mom’s up to.” Qin Xue darted off.
“Dad, let me help you clean up,” Chu Molin offered to help his father-in-law.
“Didn’t you buy anything from the city today?”
Qin Lei asked his son-in-law, noticing they returned empty-handed.
“No, we just went there for some errands. Once they were complete, we came back immediately. So, we didn’t buy anything.”
Chu Molin remembered that they hadn’t gone to the city for leisure and didn’t browse around shops. They returned as soon as their work was done, so they didn’t buy anything.
