After Gu Yi woke up, she handed the fabric meant for making clothes for the Ye Family’s parents to Ye’s mother.

Ye’s mother looked at what Gu Yi brought. Although she was happy that Gu Yi remembered the two old folks, she still felt a bit reluctant.

"Mom, I know you’re looking out for us. This is my way of showing respect to you and dad. You can find a tailor in town to make them when you have time, okay?"

She asked the staff for paper and a pen, wrote the departure time and train numbers in a letter, then bought a stamp and envelope, addressed it to Ye Hao, and sent it off.

The next day, Gu Yi didn’t go to the store but went back to her own family.

She took the fabric she had bought for her parents and nieces and dropped it off, also wanting to check if the platform Gu’s father made for her was ready.

With that, he led Gu Yi to see it. It was the first thing his daughter requested after getting married, so Gu’s father made it with extra care.

With his daughter visiting, he could check if there was anything unsuitable, so he could fix it.

When Gu Yi saw it in the storage room, she was quite pleased. It fit inside the bar area and could serve as a workbench. Gu’s father had even made a few compartments underneath, exceeding Gu Yi’s expectations.

"Dad, your craftsmanship is really good. You could even make things to sell. The business would definitely not be bad."

Gu’s father didn’t take Gu Yi’s words seriously.
