Only after Huo Sining and her group had left did Yan Feng emerge from behind the rockery in the courtyard, raising his eyebrows at Su Lan, "Are you sure she is the Ice Spirit Master?"

On the way back, Bai Yishan was still conflicted. But upon returning to the small inn, she saw a man sitting on a stone bench at the entrance. At his feet, the neat-freak lion laid in the grass, idly scratching its head in an indifferent manner.

The visitor was none other than Yan Feng, the master jade carver who had twice sent them away empty-handed.
