Reborn As Noble -
Chapter 615 - 615: Sealing the Beast Within ( 615 )
Gumarak roared loudly, his deep voice echoing like thunder through the ruined throne room. His voice was strained and cracked, twisted by the celestial power burning inside him.
"Fine, you snotty brat! I'll show you what real Celestial power is!"
Dark energy burst out violently from his body. It was heavy, oppressive, and thick enough to suffocate. Black lightning crackled and danced around his muscles, casting ghostly red flashes on his face. His eyes glowed fiercely red — no longer rational, no longer in control.
A slow, wild grin spread across his face. He lifted his palm towards the sky.
Thousand dark fireballs appeared out of nowhere, roaring like primitive creatures. They hovered for a moment, pulsing with energy, then all lunged forward at the same time, like a hailstorm of black meteors heading straight for Javier.
Javier stayed completely still, his eyes calm and steady as he watched the approaching storm.
The fireballs hit with a deafening explosion, each one powerful enough to crack stone and melt steel. A relentless flood of dark flames poured over the spot where Javier stood, turning the throne room into a blazing furnace of chaos.
Thick smoke and debris blocked his view entirely.
Gumarak's grin grew wider. He didn't hesitate. He thrust his arms forward and released wave after wave of destructive magic. Twisting black spears, spiraling blades of wind, and torrents of shadow spikes tore through the air, each spell more savage than the last.
"Die, you piece of shit!" he shouted, his voice raw and furious. He never slowed down his relentless attack. His magic ripped the throne room apart, turning it into a wreck of blackened stone, twisted metal, and scorched earth.
He laughed—crazy, savage, completely unhinged—as the storm of magic continued, merciless and unstoppable.
Gumarak kept fighting.
Magic after magic. Dark blades howled through the air. Cursed flames spun around like black dragons. Spikes burst out from the floors, walls, and even from above.
And through it all—he laughed. A wild, guttural laugh, like a beast that was unchained.
"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR MOCKING A TRUE CELESTIAL!!!" he yelled, veins bulging from his neck, his voice cracking from pure madness.
But then…
From inside the smoke.
Javier appeared.
He moved slowly. No rush. No reaction. Just a calm, casual walk forward.
His clothes were torn in a few places, covered in smoke and dust.
He reached up and brushed his shoulder.
"This is boring," Javier muttered.
Suddenly, Javier vanished.
And then he reappeared right behind Gumarak.
A clean, powerful elbow struck the back of Gumarak's neck, sending the possessed dwarf flying forward like a ragdoll, smashing through pillars and flipping across the throne room floor.
Before he could even regain his balance, Javier appeared again—
Another strike.
A roundhouse kick to the jaw.
Bones broke. Blood sprayed out.
Javier didn't stop.
He was a blur of motion. No wasted movements. No hesitation. Just precise strikes—each hit packed with mana-enhanced force.
Gumarak roared and tried to cast another spell midair—but before it could form, Javier's palm slammed into his chest.
A pulse of mana shattered the spell before it finished, exploding outward and causing the ground beneath them to crack.
Gumarak collapsed, coughing violently. He tried to get up, but Javier's boot pressed down against his shoulder, holding him down.
"…I gave you a chance," Javier said quietly, with a cold and firm voice. "I told you to use your full power."
Gumarak growled, his eyes still burning with hatred. Blood and spit dripped from his jaw as he struggled to regain control, his fingers uselessly scratching at the cracked stone beneath him.
"Damn... you...!" he snarled.
Javier leaned in slowly, getting closer, and his voice turned into a cold whisper:
"You made me wait for nothing."
Then, he lifted his boot—
and stomped down hard.
Gumarak's chest caved in slightly, his ribs creaking loudly under Javier's merciless pressure. The possessed dwarf coughed up more blood, his eyes bulging with pain.
"Is this all a 'Celestial' can do?" Javier asked quietly. "Just noise and empty threats?"
With trembling hands, Gumarak desperately raised a palm, dark magic swirling again— but Javier grabbed his wrist easily and snapped it.
Crack!
"Aghhh!!" Gumarak screamed, pain echoing through the throne room.
Javier's eyes narrowed dangerously.
"Stay down," he said softly. "Don't make me say it twice."
He slowly stood up, keeping his foot pressed on Gumarak's body. His face was calm, completely without emotion—only cold calculation.
"You disappoint me."
Javier reached to his side and opened his magic storage skill—there was a soft hum as he took out a glowing white cube, its surface decorated with runic patterns that pulsed with light.
He tossed two cubes to the right and two to the left.
From each cube, chains of pure mana shot out, latching onto Gumarak's limbs. One chain wrapped tightly around his right arm, another on his left. Two more chains bound his legs, pinning him to the cracked floor in a perfect X shape.
"Now... stay still," Javier said, without even looking at him.
He pulled out one last cube—larger, brighter, and more detailed.
With a flick of his wrist, he threw it into the air.
It floated above Gumarak's chest, spinning, and the hum grew louder as Javier began channeling his mana into it. The runes on the cube ignited with a blinding white glow, vibrating with suppressed power.
The celestial dwarf growled beneath him, thrashing his body — but the glowing chains held strong, pulsing brighter with each passing second.
"Struggling won't help," Javier said calmly.
He crouched down next to Gumarak's face, watching the red glow in the dwarf's eyes flicker with panic.
"Since my goal is to bring Gumarak back alive," Javier started, his voice steady, "it's time to seal you again… right, Fourth Celestial? You remember a spell like this, don't you? From a long, long time ago?"
He smirked.
"My father used a version of this once. But…"
Javier leaned in closer, his grin spreading wider.
"Sorry. This one isn't the same kind of sealing magic."
He stood up again, the cube above Gumarak vibrating faster—runes spinning and glowing hotter.
"I've decided to improvise."
