Chapter 681: Chapter 681: If I Die, She Can’t Live Either!

Bang!

The electric baton struck Abigail Green, and pain spread to every nerve ending in her body. She blacked out without any chance to resist.

In her daze, Abigail felt herself being thrown into a large container. She wanted to struggle, but she couldn’t even move a finger.

Before she completely lost consciousness, Abigail couldn’t help but wonder why she had to suffer so much.

Was it because she had taken someone else’s life that she must pay such a price? Was it still possible to refuse to take Abigail Green’s life now?

Unfortunately for her, there was only darkness in response.

Brandon Piers called Abigail Green right on time, but no one answered the phone. He couldn’t help but frown. Could this woman be with her childhood friend and ignoring his call?

This thought made Brandon tug at his collar in frustration. Then he checked Abigail’s phone location and found she was still at the teaching building. He guessed she must be held up by her classmates. However, three minutes later, he found Abigail still in the same place.

Feeling a bit suspicious, he dialed the number again, but still, no one answered. The man who had been sitting in the office chair suddenly stood up and headed out.

Pullan hurried to follow him, "Second Young Master, where are you going?"

"Contact the med school’s security team immediately and find out where Abigail is!" Brandon’s pace quickened as he spoke.

Pullan’s heart skipped a beat. Could it be the young mistress was in trouble again?

Without any delay, Pullan contacted the med school’s security office and dialed Kennan Max’s number.

Meanwhile, Brandon kept calling Abigail’s number, but to no avail. He could only call Benjamin Jones, who was at the med school.

"Is Abigail with you?" Brandon couldn’t hold back and asked right away.

"She hasn’t arrived yet. The number is busy. What happened?" Benjamin had sent the location to Abigail and had been waiting in the third-floor restaurant of the med school. But when the time came, Abigail hadn’t shown up. He couldn’t help but call her number, which was busy. He figured Abby was talking with Brandon and thought nothing of it.

However, receiving Brandon’s call, along with his almost frantic tone, made Benjamin feel an ominous sense of dread.

"She might be in trouble." Brandon felt terrible after saying these words. He began to doubt his abilities for the first time. He had arranged everything, but still...

Benjamin stood up abruptly, "I’ll go look for her immediately."

Brandon couldn’t afford to be jealous at this point and told Benjamin Abigail’s phone location.

Benjamin jogged out of the school restaurant. At that moment, a large trash truck loaded with its last bin moved slowly away from the campus, passing by Benjamin.

By the time Benjamin reached the location, the security team had already found Abigail Green’s phone and her shoulder bag in a trash can.

It was almost certain that Abigail Green was in trouble.

Brandon was already in the car. Hearing this result, he punched the car, making it shake slightly. His fist was also stained with red. In a hoarse voice, he asked, "Is the school locked down?"

"It’s being locked down." After learning about the situation, Kennan Max had rushed to the med school. But at this lunch hour, the med school was crowded, and the lockdown required time.

Brandon’s face darkened severely, "If anything happens to Abigail, you can forget about staying by my side."

Kennan Max’s face turned pale, but he dared not say a word. He ordered a thorough check of the med school with a steady voice.

After hanging up the phone, Brandon suddenly ordered Pullan, who was driving, "Turn around to the Waldorf."

Pullan dared not ask more and directly turned the car around.

At the Waldorf Hotel, Brandon headed straight to Eva Bell’s room.

Brandon had lost all basic manners and kicked open Eva’s door, "Hand her over."

Eva had been under house arrest for several days, emotionally on the brink of collapse. Seeing her furious son, she realized her plan might have succeeded. Hence, her glance at Brandon wasn’t as intense, "Why? My dear son finally remembers he has a mother?"

"Where is she?" Brandon hid his anger, restraining his impulse to hit his mother.

"Who are you talking about?" Eva feigned ignorance.

But Brandon wasn’t in the mood to waste time with Eva today. He strode forward, "Tell me. Where is Abigail? You had her kidnapped, didn’t you? Eva, you’re truly insane. Tell me where she is, or don’t blame me for being unkind!"

"Unkind? You mean to tell your mother, who’s unarmed, that you’ll be unkind for your enemy’s daughter? Brandon, you’re something. I’d like to see how you’ll be unkind to your mother." Hearing Brandon’s words, Eva didn’t back down. Instead, the madness in her eyes intensified.

"Eva!" Brandon suddenly grabbed his mother’s neck.

Eva hadn’t expected Brandon to actually lay hands on her. Her pupils dilated momentarily but faded quickly. Instead, she pressed her neck into Brandon’s grip, "Good son, aren’t you asking where Abigail is? I can tell you."

"Speak, don’t force me." Brandon had avoided contact with his mother over the years, fearing one day he’d lose control. Yet, Eva kept pushing his limits.

Brandon’s words didn’t intimidate Eva. Instead, the madness in her eyes grew stronger. Thinking of how her husband had once treated her the same way, now her good son would do it for a woman.

"Force you? Kill me, and I won’t interfere with your marriage again." Eva’s cold eyes fixed on her son, without fear, rather longing for liberation.

Brandon’s eyes reddened, "Do you really think I don’t dare?"

"Then do it, ha." Eva mocked with a crazed gleam. Her heart was shattered like ice fragments.

Hearing this provocation, Brandon tightened his grip, seemingly ready to kill Eva.

"Hmm, hmm... I truly raised a good son, a good son!" Eva’s breathing became labored, her face flushed, but she still muttered. If she had known she’d die by her son’s hand, she would’ve detonated the chip in his heart early on for a family reunion.

"Where is Abigail? Have your men release her!" Brandon’s eyes also gleamed with madness. Since Jeffrey Foster’s incident, he was terrified Abigail might suffer again.

Even as he forced Eva into breathlessness, her face turning purple-blue from lack of oxygen, she didn’t relent. Instead, she murmured indistinctly, "If I die, she won’t live either!"

"You dare!"

"Ah..." Brandon’s grip intensified suddenly, and Eva groaned in pain. She was indeed about to die at her son’s hand, how absurd!

Bang!

As Eva neared unconsciousness, Sofia Piers pushed open the hotel door, seeing Brandon gripping their mother’s neck. What she held dropped to the floor with a thud.

"Brandon, stop!"
