Chapter 507: Chapter 507: I’m dating the Second Young Master

Competition scene.

Abigail had previously analyzed for a few people that the medical skills competition for college students was a skills competition, but the requirements were not too high. The judges ultimately needed to see the students’ operational norms, emergency response capabilities, and their attitude towards medicine.

After a month of training, Abigail believed that Lena and the others had already etched these into their hearts.

When the competition was announced to begin, Abigail opened the materials bag and discovered that many of the materials were unusable, meant only to confuse the contestants, while others were disposable and very hard to use.

She glanced through them briefly and began selecting the necessary materials.

She then arranged the materials in order.

Many materials would be discarded once they touched the contaminated area. Thus, the order in which the materials were brought in became crucial.

In a hospital, there might be backup materials, but on the competition field, this was clearly impossible, and it should also be part of the assessment.

Abigail did the preliminary work, disinfected herself, and then entered the surgical area.

These three projects were not challenging for her. Abigail moved quickly, especially in the skin cutting, suturing, and removing stitches segments. She deliberately slowed down, changed her previous stitching method, but still very fast, causing the director to put her directly on the big screen for all the judges to watch.

Brandon watched the scene through the screen and knew what was happening as if he were present. His handsome face was full of pride.

Meanwhile, the other three entered the operational area too. Compared to Abigail, they were not as calm and confident, each flustered but quickly stabilized by remembering Abigail’s advice.

Especially Lena, who, after a moment of panic, found that there was no talcum powder inside the gloves. Cleverly, she chose a larger size glove. During the competition, the contestants beside her couldn’t wear their gloves because of the lack of talcum powder, leading to significant point deductions.

After three hours of individual operations, everyone exited the surgical room and began the team operations.

Abigail looked at the four with varying emotions, said nothing extra, just extended her hand, and looked at them. "Let’s do our best!"

They immediately perked up.

Next was the second round of the team competition.

This time, they were assigned to the emergency transport of spinal injuries, along with two other projects, one for four people and the other for three people cooperating.

The remaining person was responsible for answering questions.

With Abigail leading, the project progressed smoothly and ended the operational part in under an hour.

The four looked at Abigail in a daze, "Is it over?"

"Yes." Abigail had not much emotion.

Outside the screen, Brandon saw the reactions of the group led by Abigail, his lips uncontrollably curving up. These kids knew nothing. His little chubby could perform an open-heart surgery alone. This emergency handling, if not for taking care of you little ones, she could have been faster.

The competition results were almost without suspense. Abigail won the individual competition championship in her solo performance. Their group also won the team competition. The unexpected part was Lena secured second place in her group’s individual competition.

Wilson and Sophie performed steadily, placing fourth and fifth in their respective competition units. Only Master Hudson had several mistakes in his answers during the operation, leading to many points deductions, placing ninth.

However, according to the comprehensive ranking, their performance was still outstanding, advancing to the finals.

Bertha and Duncan’s group fell behind them.

Mainly because Bertha was confident that she would win the championship in their competition unit, but in the end, she lost to Abigail Green.

The results of the others were similar to Lena’s.

The difference between the two groups was one had a unit champion, and the other was second.

If it were anyone else, that wouldn’t matter. But for Bertha, it was a big blow.

She never expected to lose the unit competition championship she was certain to win. When the scores were announced, her pretty face turned extremely ugly, and she stormed out of the competition scene.

Duncan and Celia’s expressions were unpleasant too. Everyone knew Wilson, Master Hudson, and Lena had low practical competence. Thus, they never regarded them seriously in the rematch.

Who would have thought the team they looked down upon the most would win against them?

Even Bertha couldn’t understand, and neither could the others.

But regardless of whether they understood or not, the fact was, although the group entered the finals, the atmosphere was oppressive.

They could almost foresee the public opinion trend at school.

The most regretful person was Duncan. She had applied for ten troll accounts to vote for Abigail Green’s group last time, but did not receive the money as she had expected. Instead, the user deleted the account directly, leaving her cursing secretly but unable to cancel the votes.

Especially since the post asking for votes was paid for by her, thinking of that made her even more irritated.

So, Duncan had been holding a grudge throughout the rematch, wanting to humiliate Abigail Green with results. Who would have thought Bertha would lose to Abigail Green, and their team would lose to Abigail Green’s team too?

Duncan was so angry that she clenched her teeth.

Abigail had no time to care if others were happy or not. She took the four back and started a recap, pointing out their issues.

By the time everything was done, it was already seven in the evening.

Seeing the darkening sky outside, Abigail realized it was late. She was about to call Pullan when her phone rang first. It was Brandon.

Seeing the number, the fatigue on Abigail’s face melted away. She smiled at the others, "Let’s call it a day. Good luck in the finals."

"Who is it? Your eyes are sparkling," asked Lena, gossiping.

Others were curious too, as they had never seen Abigail look like this. "Yeah, who is it? You’re blushing. Are you in love?"

"I thought something happened last time. Spit it out! Who is it?" Lena teased.

Their classmates chimed in, guessing who Abigail might be dating.

They listed several names, including an intern teacher they met at the hospital. Abigail couldn’t bear it anymore and told them with a smile, "I’m not hiding it from you. I’m dating Master Brandon."

"Which Master Brandon?" asked Wilson, bewildered.

"Master Brandon Piers."

There was a moment of stunned silence, then everyone burst into laughter.

This seemed delusional. Who wouldn’t want to date Master Brandon? But he was engaged, and how could he possibly be dating a female student?

Previously, Lena thought Abigail somewhat resembled Master Brandon’s fiancée. But when Abigail openly said she was dating Master Brandon, it seemed unlikely to be true.

No one believed Abigail.

Only Master Hudson, who knew the truth, stayed silent.

Sophie secretly raised an eyebrow at this maneuver.

Abigail saw they didn’t believe her, waved her hand, "I can’t do anything if you don’t believe me. Now Master Brandon is here to pick me up. I’m going to meet my beautiful love."

Saying that, she bolted out.

Everyone, "..."

Master Brandon picking her up? No one believed it even more.
