When Yang Ming heard Xiaoxiao’s voice, he felt instantly cheered; his wife really brought him a meal.

He immediately stopped what he was doing and found a place to sit down.

Xiaoxiao opened the basket and took out two bowls of rice along with a big platter of dishes: pork ribs, shredded potatoes, tofu, and candied sweet potatoes.

"Did you make this?"

From the sight of the candied sweet potatoes, Yang Ming knew for sure that the meal had been prepared by his wife.

"Eat up before it gets cold!"

Hearing Xiaoxiao’s words, Yang Ming felt a warmness in his heart, completely forgetting about having to give her up to his younger brother, and he happily dove into the meal.
