Chapter 89: Qualifying Round!

Chapter 89: 89: Qualifying Round!

Ash woke up to a tender kiss that landed on his lips. As his sight had returned, he found Elara and Yunxian were already fawned on his either side.

At this time, he remembered that last night, Elara crawled into the bed around dawn when he and Yunxian finished their night. The elven lady cuddled him while playing with little brother. Since he was too tired and sleepy, he just let Elara do whatever she wanted until she was satisfied with just a quick morning ride.

"Good morning, Young Lord." Yunxian greeted him with another kiss on his cheek.

On the other hand, Elara was still reluctant to let him go just yet. She whined softly while still half asleep on his chest. Yunxian, however, could tolerate Elara’s childishness since last night was not her turn to sleep with him.

"I will tell Sylphy and the others to prepare the bath and breakfast." Yunxian said in a whisper.

"En. I will stay in bed a while longer then."

Once the hot spring bath was prepared, Ash, Elara, and Yunxian went to bathe together and had breakfast with the others. Since today was the Grand Opening day for Phoenix Inn, the breakfast went really short. Afterward, the elven ladies returned to their duty and were helped by Tang Guoqiang and his peers.

Before Ash knew it, the elven ladies had formed a special bond with the boys which was very natural to happen. In fact, he would encourage his men to take the elves as their bride to promote interracial marriage which was still condemned as a taboo. He hoped that Phoenix Inn would become the hub to connect the non-humans that scattered throughout the Immortal Beast Realm. And eventually, he would build a kingdom of his own, a safe haven for Immortal Beasts and Non-human Races.

But of course, Ash was aware that such utopia was impossible to realize without absolute power to deter anyone or even a God who was against his will and goals.

"So, how many do we expect for tonight’s Grand Opening?" Ash quipped, eyes glanced at Yunxian and Elara while picking the veggies with chopsticks.

"With the current staff members and room availability, we could accommodate twenty regular guests and five VIP guests at once."

Ash hummed, deep in thoughts as he read the pricing and service list which was provided by Sylphy.

"This would work. With just 25 Tael of Gold Coins and 50 for VIP guests, I think the price is very reasonable. Including the add in services which goes directly to the staff, this inn would surely thrive for the long run."

"But of course," Yunxian chimed in. "We would also thrive to improve our services every day. Better yet, if everything goes as planned, we could join the inn and my house together and create the whole resort."

Ash liked the idea, "with that arrangement, we could employ more humans as well. For example, the dwarves. They might be very brassy and foul-mouthed, however, they are very skilled artisans. You could count on them."

Elara chimed and nodded. "I agree with him."

"Most intriguing, I must say...." Yunxian said. "Should we scout for one?"

"Yes, please. Sister Yunxian. If possible, scout for any dwarf who has Motsognirson as their surname. They are the direct descendants of Motsognir, the first dwarven king in the history of the Great Althean Continent."

"Noted." Yunxian said. "Maomao will see it done."

Time really flew past so quickly as everybody was busy with the preparation. The interior was now decorated with numerous dimmed lanterns in every corner, creating a cozy and homely atmosphere around the property. The once lonely and unkempt garden was now fully restored, further emphasize the grandeur yet also the simplicity of the inn.

Ash wanted to see this Grand Opening till the very end of service hour. However, things didn’t always go as planned. Elara tugged him into his study and locked the door behind her. She clearly hadn’t satisfied yet from just a morning quickie.

As the dusk began to settle, not just one, but two messengers from the City Hall and the Auction House arrived at the same time at the Inn’s front gate. Subsequently, Tang Guoqiang stood before them before they could step further into the inn’s premises.

"Welcome to Phoenix Inn, dear guests." Tang Guoqiang greeted politely albeit he knows who they were from the outfit. "Please forgive my impertinence. I can’t let you in right now since our establishment is still preparing. Please come back late by the opening hour."

"I’m just a messenger, lad." Said the messenger from the City Hall. "I’m here to deliver this invitation letter to your master."

Afterward, the messenger from the Auction House opened his mouth. "I come here to deliver this bank note to your, Master."

"En." Guoqiang nodded. "You may leave them to me. Young Lord Xiao Hûo is currently very busy."

The messengers just shrugged their shoulders and handed the letters to Tang Guoqiang and went to the next address.

Before long, Tang Guoqiang knocked on Ash’ study, announcing his presence. Immediately, the door was unlocked.

"Please come in." Ash said.

As he push the door, Guoqiang found Elara and Ash were awkwardly fixing their clothes and hair. Even without asking, Guoqiang knew what they were doing beforehand.

"I-I am really sorry for the intrusion. I’ll come back later."

"No, you are fine." Ash said. "Do you need something?"

"There are letter for you, young lord."

"En." Ash reached out his hand. And the letters landed on his hand. "Thank you, Guoqiang, you may leave."

"Yes, young lord." Guoqiang bowed apologetically. "I beg your pardon."

"En."

After he closed the door and sat on his chair, Elara climbed onto his crotch once again. He then read the first letter which was from the Auction House while feeling Elara’s tightness around his little brother, quietly.

"Hmm? 1,250,000 Tael of Gold Coins in total from the Appraisal Revenue?m. And the fund had been deposited into Zhou Trading Company. Hahaha, Wu Family clearly didn’t want to beef with Tang Family it seems."

Afterward, he tore open the other letter from the City Hall and read the content in his mind.

"Dear Young Lord Xiao Hûo, you are invited to the Opening Ceremony of the Qualifying Round of Ten Skies Martial Tournament tonight, 9:00 PM. We would send a carriage as soon as you tore the corner of the paper."

"Oh, this is interesting."

"Master... mhhhh, I can’t hold it..."

Spurt!

To appreciate her effort, Ash couldn’t help but to bless her seedbed and gave her a very deep kisses while playing tug-of-war with her tongue.

"Mmmhh.... It’s so warm inside me. Thank you, Master. And, I am so sorry to forcing like this when everyone is busy."

"It’s okay, your happiness is paramount. I know, it must be hard for elves to held their urge in mating season. If you feel like it, just call whenever, and I will happily satisfy your desire."

Elara pecked his lips, moving her hip back and forth albeit slowly. "So, are you going to attend the Opening Ceremony?"

"I guess so. Would you like to come with me as well?"

"In this state?"

Ash chuckled heartily. "If you want too..."

"Pervert." Elara thumped his chest lightly. "I will get dressed. Would you wait for me a bit longer though?"

"Yes. I don’t mind. Take your time."

A while later, Ash and Elara had arrived at the Colloseum where the Qualifying Round would take place. Granted, every body was looking at the golden haired beauty who strode two steps behind the handsome young man who donned in a crimson robe.

Although every pair of eyes were fixated on her goddess-like figure, Elara remained poised, her gaze only follows Ash’ footsteps to show her faithfulness and announced to the virgin young masters who attended this occasion that she was belonged to one man only.

"Welcome to the Qualifying Round of the Ten Skies Martial Tournaments! From today’s onward, we will held the Seven Days of Hell where all participants would fight for their lives and reach top ten by the end of day seventh!"

The total participants of the Qualifying Round alone was around two hundreds, and everybody would certainly kill each other in the first day of the tournament. Moreover, half of them were already at Mid Stage Qi Condensation Realm.

Soonly enough, a stone monument was erected with the names of the participants from the strongest to the weakest.

This stone tablet was the ranking list of the cultivators who had passed the initial test and were from great families who lives in the city.

There are only fifty places on the leaderboard, and their names and ages were displayed for all to read. Many powerful experts soon gather next to the leaderboard stone in order without causing a ruckus.

Ash stared at him and saw the number one on the leaderboard, named Wang Zhoujun!

Hearing from people around him, Wang Zhoujun was only 18 years old this year, and she’s a disciple of the elder guarding the Main Branch of Wang Family. Her cultivation has reached the peak of Qi Condensation Realm!, and her internal strength, martial skills, and swords skills are graded as Jade-Grade Skills!
