"I shall accept your proposal under several conditions, my lord." Yue Yin lowered her head, and thus, her offspring soon followed her gesture perfectly.

Ash stood up, looking deeply at Yue Yin’s eyes.

"You may speak."

"Will you accept my children as your own? They might not be your biological offspring, however, I shall assure you that their loyalties shall not be fazed nor wavered, they will serve you as the new Alpha Male of this pack."

"I accept." Ash said as soon as she shut her snout. "Anything else?"

"Honestly, there’s one more thing that has been stuck in my head. The strength of our pack is greatly reduced after the previous battle which led by my ex-Alpha Male to a total annihilation when he foolishly preyed on a powerful Immortal Beast in disguise. Therefore, I’ll need you to breed me three times a day to ensure the future generation of our pack."

His feet turned stiff as a log when Yue Yin mentioned the massacre that he committed a few days ago. As the one who was responsible for this conundrum, Ash had no choice but to surrender some of his wealth and resources to make amends.

"Very well. That should be easy..." Ash couldn’t quite discern the weight of her plea at first. When he did, Ash’ face went stiff. He knew that he and Yue Yin would proceed to procreation activities sooner or later. But, he didn’t expect that it would be a hardcore one.

"Hold on! Three times a day?!"

"Yes. You heard it right my lord." Yue Yin was so relaxed, there was no sign of awkwardness on her person. "However, I am still wondering how you would court me due to the stark difference in our body size. Not that I’m discontent with your being, but, you know..."

As a former human, Ash, of course, knew a thing or two about how to woo a woman that he occasionally visited at the brothel. However, he absolutely had no idea on how to mate in his current form.

Ash glanced at her. "Her name is Huxian, a Nine-Tailed Vixen Transcendence Rank Immortal Beast."

"You mean, Lady Huxian of The Lake?!" Yue Yin was flabbergasted, both of her eyes were widened. "That explains a lot!"

"You know her?"

"Only from the myth and the legends." Yue Yin calmed down, lying on her belly. "Rumor has it, anybody who stepped into her domain and was welcomed by Lady Huxian, herself, they would be blessed with a tremendous amount of wisdom and fortunes."

"Wisdom and fortunes, thou claimeth?" Ash remarked. "What she has given me is nothing to compare with the abundances of her domain. However, I’m so grateful that she saved me from drowning in the river."

"Such a wonderful experience, is it not? I wish I could meet her someday."

"Eh, she’s quite an elusive being, however. I can’t even tell whether she’s real or not. I doubt we’d be lucky enough to be graced by her presence anytime soon. As of now, we need to get stronger so I wouldn’t make her disappointed. I will retreat to my secluded meditation soon. Until then, we may not seen each other for quite some time, I am afraid."

Ash pondered for a while, then woke Shanguang up by pulling her whiskers a tad.

"Xiao Shan, can you please get back to our den and tell Ye Yinghui that I’m going to marry the Abysmal Wolf and tell her to prepare the dowries for my engagement, also? She will immediately understand and know what to do."

Shanguang tilted her head, trying to discern what dowries mean. Nevertheless, she didn’t inquire about it any further.

"Right away, Master! I will be back in few days!"

With that said, the young Ligress darted away toward the northeast direction. To ensure her safety, Yue Yin nodded at her strongest squad of four wolves to follow Shanguang from behind.

"Well then, shall we?" Yue Ying beckoned him to get inside the cave with a head gesture.

Once he stepped inside, he was amazed by the amount of Spirit Crystals that adorned every inch of the cave walls.

"No kidding. If a Cultivator ought to find this cave, they would do anything to usurp this from you, Yue Yin." Ash remarked.

"They may try, but they will never succeed."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You will know very soon." Yue Yin smiled gently. "This way, my lord."

By the time they reached the deepest part of the cave, Ash was, once again, astonished by the two massive Spirit Crystals that stood proudly at 10 feet tall before him.

"W-what is this?!"

"The Divine Qi Vein. Although it’s just the tip of the entire Qi Vein, this Spirit Crystal has become the very heart of this region, without it, the entire mountain would have turned into rubles."
