Mr. Han only took a glance before he spotted something amiss, "How come even the clothes are ripped?" He couldn’t help muttering to himself: "What happened to this child?!"

Not only Mr. Han, but upon hearing the commotion, all four members of the Han Family came out from their respective rooms to the living room.

Fu Yu also followed suit, and now he was standing with everyone else around Zhen Yu.

"Everybody back off a bit! Ming Yue, go get the first aid kit!" Mr. Han waved his hands to have everyone spread out a little, and they all stepped back.

Zhen Yu had already taken off her jacket, and now, under Mr. Han’s directions, was taking off her sweater, implying that it would be inconvenient to remove it once bandaged.

Eventually, Zhen Yu sat on the sofa wearing only a thermal undershirt, draping her jacket over herself.

The sleeve of the undershirt was less damaged, but there was quite a bit more blood.

Mr. Han rolled up her sleeve and immediately recognized it as a knife wound, his pupils constricting, "How did this happen?"

"After an overnight interrogation, we found that he indeed has a key to your house and a deep understanding of the household composition and the routines of the people coming and going. But his motive for committing the crime, or what he aimed to achieve, is still unclear!"

"He’s the little brother-in-law of my ex-husband! He must have gotten the key from my ex-husband! Fortunately, we changed our locks just before the New Year!"

"I see! Do you still have contact with your ex-husband? We need to find him to understand the situation."

"No! But I know where he lives! It’s at... Officer, this scoundrel should be sentenced and locked away for good!"

"Okay! Okay! I’ve noted that; we will record the situation accurately! In his case, he is currently detained, but he will eventually have to take criminal responsibility."
