Chapter 1312 - Chapter 1312 Chapter 1284 Activate Mutual Sabotage Mode
Chapter 1312: Chapter 1284: Activate Mutual Sabotage Mode Chapter 1312: Chapter 1284: Activate Mutual Sabotage Mode Aka realized she couldn’t get anything out of the call, so she wanted to meet up with Third Senior Brother another day to chat, but then she heard Spencer Tatum on the other end of the line say.
“I’ve taken care of it for you. It just so happened that I came back to deliver some medicine to the Junior Leader’s man, and took care of it while I was at it.”
Taken care of it? Aka didn’t even have time to react before her impetuous Third Senior Brother had already hung up and made a call to Mario Yuno.
“Hello, Camden, where are you? Oh, you’re off to a meeting in the Imperial Capital? Perfect, I’ve got something to hand over to you.”
…
Kiara was actually playing a harmless little joke on Aka; her main purpose for coming to the Imperial Capital wasn’t the auction. She was here for work, but not for Zoel Cohen; it was for someone in Zoel Cohen’s room.
Mrs. Kiara never imagined her little joke would not only mess with Aka but also bring her indescribable trouble, and soon they’d start a chaotic cycle of sabotaging each other.
In truth, Kiara didn’t deceive Aka; she indeed had someone to see, but that person was not Zoel Cohen.
She never told Aka that there was a problem with Zoel Cohen during their conversation, she only said she needed to go to Zoel Cohen’s room. But who said Zoel Cohen was the only person in the room?
Kiara and Aka stayed in the Presidential Suite, and so did Zoel Cohen. When Kiara arrived, he was tasting red wine with a patient.
Seeing Kiara enter, Zoel Cohen stood up and nodded to the gentleman opposite him.
“Dr. Clark’s here, you can chat.”
This Presidential Suite was over 170 square meters, usually used to accommodate business tycoons and various celebrities; it had a master bedroom, a secondary bedroom, an entertainment lounge, and a living room. Kiara and the patient sat in the living room while Zoel Cohen moved to the entertainment lounge, separated by just a wall. The lounge offered a full set of entertainment amenities, particularly a high-quality audio-visual system, but Zoel Cohen didn’t pick out a film. Instead, he poured himself a glass of red wine and sat on the sofa by the window, admiring the city’s night view.
Once the door to the living room closed, only Kiara and the man opposite her remained.
The man appeared to be in his forties, with a sharp, well-proportioned face, a bit of a beer belly, slightly balding, indistinguishable from any businessman outside, despite his effort to show utmost respect for Kiara. Still, his eyes couldn’t hide the conceit that came with superiority.
“Are you the doctor handling my treatment?” the man asked Kiara in fluent English.
“Yes, Mr. Zach, could you briefly describe your condition?” Kiara replied to him in English.
“There’s not much to say, everything’s clearly written in the documents. What I want to say is that as a doctor, you should have professional ethics. You should know what should and should not be discussed.”
“I understand. Shall we begin our treatment then?”
Until now, their conversation was no different from Kiara’s previous treatments with patients; many wealthy individuals with illnesses behave this way, using an arrogant air to disguise their fear or shame of disease. In Kiara’s eyes, these people were all the same; big Fat Sheep.
This Mr. Zach had married into his family; he was merely the General Manager within Seth Corporation, but the real power lay with his wife, Jose, who was the Chairman of Seth Corporation. Together, they managed a great business, but Mr. Zach had an embarrassing problem. Nearly forty and childless, people saw his faithfulness over the years to his wife without any external affairs, unaware that his body had issues.
The man obfuscated his condition in conversation, and only through considerable effort and the use of some professional conversational techniques did Kiara manage to get the full picture from him.
Generally, men would rather admit to being short, poor, and unattractive than acknowledge any issues in that regard, and wealthy men are no exception.
“…So, you feel extremely dirty the moment you come into contact with women, as if you might catch a disease?” Kiara summarized.
“Yes, the doctor said there are no organic problems with my body; it must be caused by a Psychological issue.”
Mr. Zach emphasized that there was nothing wrong with his body–it was purely psychological factors at play. So far, he was still half-doubtful about Kiara, although he tried his best to hide his condition. Nonetheless, Kiara was able to peel away the layers and seek the truth, which slightly increased the man’s faith in her.
“I preliminarily judge that you have a mild personality disorder. ED patients often exhibit anxiety and negativity during marital activities–”
“I don’t have ED! The doctor said I’m physically normal. It’s just my mentality that has issues.”
Kiara pretended not to hear this obvious cover-up and continued to ask.
“How long has it been since you were with your wife?”
The man didn’t want to answer. Kiara asked again before he reluctantly raised one hand.
“Five months?”
“It’s been five years.”
“…I think we should increase the counseling fee.”
The man looked at Kiara, perplexed. Kiara sighed.
“I presume your wife’s mental state is not optimistic either. It’s best if treatment is undertaken together by a couple.”
Thinking of his wife, the man shuddered and even his normally proud expression cracked slightly with emotion. He quickly shook his head.
“You just treat me, that’s all. Name your price.”
Kiara liked the sound of “name your price.” She then conjured up a perfect smile.
“All right, over the next two days, I’ll undertake psychological analysis therapy with you, which might involve techniques like dream analysis to aid your recovery. After you return home, we’ll add some cognitive therapy, which I can direct over the phone. Now let’s move on to the formal treatment…”
An expert can tell with a wave of the hand. Once Kiara started formal treatment, few ‘Fat Sheep’ could resist being coaxed by her, and the man was no different. He was quickly drawn into the treatment, and the 2 hours flew by just like that.
“That’s enough for today’s session. When you go back, follow my suggestions to relax your mind. We will continue tomorrow.”
“What if I still don’t respond?” The man didn’t feel any arousal yet but felt much more relaxed and now saw Kiara in a different light than he did at the beginning.
Casting aside that veiled anxiety normally seen between patients and doctors, upon closer examination of Kiara, he realized that she was indeed attractive.
Kiara was already good-looking, and after having her baby, she acquired an additional hint of charm. Her gaze became softer than usual, and with her strong aura, it was easy to catch a man’s eye. Mr. Zach was attracted as well.
“A single treatment might not have such clear results. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If you feel the need, you might try drinking a small amount of alcohol — a little can heighten the excitement level of the central nervous system in your brain.”
When Kiara talked about this issue, it was as if she was discussing whether cabbage tastes better pickled or stewed with glass noodles. In front of a doctor, there is no difference in gender or shame for patients. However, to Mr. Zach’s ears, it sounded quite heavenly.
“Do you often do this?”
“Do what?” Kiara asked, puzzled.
“Discuss this matter so freely in front of men. Do you have any personal experience? Seeing how young Dr. Clark is, she probably doesn’t have much experience, right?” While speaking, his hand moved unconscionably toward Kiara’s waist.
