The loud crying startled both of them. Seeing the baby awake and crying, Jiang Xue threw down her book and reached out to hold the child.

"Good!" Jiang Xue smiled and took the baby, holding him close.

The change in holder made the baby uncomfortable, he squirmed and pouted his lips, but with milk to drink, he didn’t cry.

Once she saw the child wasn’t crying, Bai Yuhua felt relieved and went out to eat.

Jiang Xue held the baby and fed him milk, while Mu Qiancheng watched by the side, worried Jiang Xue might be tired, he said, "Xue’er, give me the baby. You’ve just given birth, your body must still be uncomfortable, take a good rest."

Jiang Xue looked up at Mu Qiancheng, smiled, and replied, "It’s okay, my body has recovered a lot."

She wasn’t sure if it was the effect of Spiritual Energy, but she felt fine. If she wasn’t worried about Bai Yuhua’s nagging, she would surely get out of bed and move around.

The baby was still small and couldn’t eat much. Soon, Little Reunion was full and started playing. He kept spitting out the nipple then sucking it back in, amusing himself with the game.
