"I can’t be bothered when I’m alone; my stomach isn’t good either, and I can’t eat much else," Shen Jianhua said.

He didn’t bring up Zhou Lanfang, partly because he was too ashamed and partly because Shen Mianmian must have already heard about it from others. After all the terrible things he had done in the past, he had wronged Shen Mianmian and had no right to expect her help.
