The Yuan Realm was not the same as the Three Realms, and the fierce beasts in the Beast Spirit Mountain Range were different from the Demon Clan. They were inherently vicious and would attack and kill everything they encountered with full force. This was not the first time Sun Wukong had encountered such a situation in the past few days.

Ever since he saw a Yuan Emperor being turned into an ice statue by a single blast of Ice Flame and shattering into pieces upon touch, Sun Wukong knew that with his current cultivation, it would be difficult to withstand the attacks of the fierce beasts in the Beast Spirit Mountain Range. Even with the toughness and resistance of his Chaos Battle Body, the outcome of taking a direct hit would probably not be much better.

Thus, Sun Wukong had been very cautious along the way. Whenever a fierce beast attacked a group of people, he would immediately use Earth Escape to burrow underground and hide. The people who initially chased Pangu into the Beast Spirit Mountain Range had all died. If they hadn’t, Sun Wukong would have directly found them and inquired. Now, he could only follow the crowd into the deeper parts of the Beast Spirit Mountain Range, hoping to find a clue about Pangu in the Ancient God Ruins.

The sounds of screams and fighting outside began to diminish. It seemed the attacking fierce beast had been dealt with. Sun Wukong peeked his head out from the ground. Blood and severed limbs were everywhere around. Not far away lay a massive beast that looked like a lizard, with a large hole in its neck, dead to the world.

This fierce beast attack was very sudden. Many people didn’t have time to react and were hit by the flames, some of them burned to ashes instantly, and many others sustained various degrees of injury. The beast was finally killed by a Domain Soldier holding a long spear who pierced its neck.

"The Blue Spirit Mercenary Group is recruiting temporary members, requiring strong body techniques and perception abilities to restrain fierce beasts and scout the surroundings."

The warrior wielding the long spear wasn’t alone; he belonged to a mercenary group called Blue Spirit. The leader was a beautiful woman with long blue-violet hair named Blue Spirit, after whom the group was named.

The spear-wielding warrior was named Zhao Jun, the most powerful attacker in the Blue Spirit Mercenary Group.

In the recent fierce beast attack, the scouting member of the Blue Spirit Mercenary Group was caught off guard and burned to ashes. Now with one person short in their five-member team, Blue Spirit and Zhao Jun discussed and decided to recruit directly from the remaining crowd, with the requirement of strong perception abilities.

Considering the previous member was killed by a sneak attack, Blue Spirit thought they also needed good body techniques to ensure some self-preservation ability in sudden situations.

Sun Wukong snorted lightly, a bit disappointed to find that Blue Spirit was also someone who judged by appearances, despite her good looks.

"It’s not that I am being malicious, but your cultivation is only Yuan King Level. Even with some specialties, you might still fall short compared to others. We need someone who can handle perception and exploration independently, not a burden!"

Blue Spirit stared at Sun Wukong. His Yuan King level of cultivation was indeed weak. She had already spoken quite politely. If not for an unclear, mysterious aura around him, she would have dismissed him long ago.
