It was September and the weather wasn’t particularly hot, nor was it cold. So it was still light out when the students went to school in the morning.

There was a big sign with the words "Lotus Leaf Pancake" hanging at their doorstep, written by Qin Xiangnuan. Her handwriting was exquisite. In this way, she had earned 15 yuan in a single day, and that’s with making a small batch. If they made more, perhaps they could earn 30 yuan in a day.

"We can also bring porridge, just like at the bus station," Qin Xiangnuan thought for a moment and still found the idea appealing. If students had both pancakes and porridge, their stomachs would be full.

It was just a matter of setting up a few tables and chairs at home, for which they had already reserved space.
