This was a deadly plague he had to avoid at all cost and he didn’t know if all this was the work of his brother.

But he couldn’t do away with the engagement thing entirely, he had to proceed with another different bride. His brother was watching closely and he had to be careful.

Another reporter inquired and this caught Huo Dong off guard, he was in a hurry to go back to the country but a lot was happening in just a short period of time he was absent.

"If he made such orders then it meant they became too violent and it’s no longer a peaceful demonstration, as a commander in chief, his priority is to make sure the lives of the civilians are protected according to the laws, and any demonstrations like those aren’t accepted since they are illegal and unwarranted... Thank you ..." with that, he hurriedly walked away into the entrance gate before checking in and settling down at the VIP lounge.

He nervously exhaled loudly, "Huo Ting, check out what’s happening online on those social media platforms... What a mess!" His voice was hoarse as he closed his eyes trying to calm down, one thing he always knew was that his brother was more powerful than him, he was just a puppet on that seat just because Huo Shen never wanted it.

"You have a phone call here..." Huo Ting who was planning to check things out, suddenly the mobile phone rang. He stretched his hand and passed it over to him, Huo Dong received it opening his eyes that were reddening.

"Hello, Ma..." His voice was a little down and deep-toned as he tried to keep calm from all the frustrations and fits of anger he was feeling.

"I wanted to notify you that don’t worry about a bride, I will make proper arrangements for you, and make sure no one knows until that day, do you know who your brother wants to get engaged to? Have you seen or met any other girl who has been closer to Huo Shen apart from Mo Zi Jia?" That calm and calculative voice from the other side calmed him giving him hope and his eyes shone brightly.

His relationship with his mother has always been kept a secret, no one knew that she was still alive and in hiding, and she had never gotten married. No one has seen her in the human form or the pictures.

"I don’t know Mother, I have been out of the country for the past five days and I don’t know how things are back there, let me get back home and then we can talk in length..." He immediately hung up knowing this place wasn’t safe to make such sensitive private phone calls as they were easily tracked.

He returned the mobile phone over to Huo Ting as his back leaned on his seat closing his eyes, he knew it wasn’t appropriate for his image to change his bride-to-be just like that all of a sudden, but he didn’t have any other options at the moment.

He couldn’t get entangled with the Mo family any longer, it was going down and at the moment, it couldn’t give him any support he urgently needed.

"But Mr President, this is going to have a negative impact on your name and also whatever Huo Shen is doing ain’t favourable in your situation as the current President... It’s detrimental to you as a leader." He pitied him, not only did he not have the power to command, but at the same time he was powerless when it came to Huo Shen.
