While she was opening the rice cooker, a sudden vision flashed through her eyes containing images of Huo Shen involved in an accident, she froze for a minute and slightly panicked.

She rushed out of the kitchen into the living room before rushing out of the door through the pavement, she rushed over to the parking lot.

"Hurry up and get down!"

"Don’t drive that car...!"

"Get down!" She loudly huffed after shouting bending as she held her knees breathing out heavily from the little run.

Huo Qi who had switched the engine on immediately switched it off before alighting with Huo Shen...

Huo Shen in a panic rushed over to Su Wei Wei who was bent, standing a few steps away and seemingly having difficulty breathing, her breath was heavy and laboured.

Before she could faint, he held her into his arms and picked her up, she was light and he didn’t need to worry about getting tired of carrying her.

"Huo Qi, check that car..." He didn’t know why, but Su Wei Wei couldn’t tell them to get down if there wasn’t something wrong... He stood there with her in his arms as Huo Qi checked it out.

He had switched the engine off, switched it on, opened the car and began checking it out as the guards walked over to the parking lot.

The brakes were off and they just had to get over to the road and they would malfunction after a short distance, and the fuel inside the tank was replaced with something else...

In this scenario, they weren’t going to survive, Su Wei Wei really saved them.

"Let’s say, she saved us! We couldn’t have made it out alive..." While saying it out loud, his heart heavily drummed in his chest as his entire body shivered, they narrowly escaped this one... What if Su Wei Wei wasn’t around? What could have happened?

"Find all the guards and question them one by one, also it’s time we call our men over, we will be settling down here for now unless she wants to go abroad with me..." His voice shook and at that moment Huo Qi’s phone rang.

He nervously got it out of his trouser pockets with his trembling hands and gazed at the screen, it was from the Military academy.

"Hello..." He hoarsely responded it wasn’t a personal number but a landline number registered under the military academy.

"Inform Commander in Chief that we are having difficulties locating the ship carrying the firearms cargoes..." It was short and brief and the person immediately hung up, he didn’t even get his name or carefully capture the sound.

"He hang up... They are saying they are unable to trace the ship carrying the firearms cargo..." He hoarsely muttered leaning against the car as his knees violently shook feeling weak all over.

"What a well-thought-out plan! " Huo Shen coldly muttered as he strode back into the mansion and placed Su Wei Wei on the couch, he got a shawl from one of the table drawers underneath the coffee table and covered her before switching the AC off... She had fallen unconscious in his arms.

He walked over to the kitchen and checked on the food she was cooking, it was okay and stewing.

He strode back to the laptop he had left on the dining table, he picked it up and strode over to the couch where he had placed Su Wei Wei and settled down on the carpet using the coffee table that was placed there.

He turned around and gazed at her before kissing her forehead, "I owe you once again..." He didn’t know why, but when she shouted at them to get down, he instinctively got down from the car without questioning.

He switched the laptop on and began going through the CCTV footage of the parking lot that was backed up in his account.

"Master Huo, they are saying that the footages of the kitchen weren’t recorded because the CCTV cameras have been spoiled..." This guy was Huo Qi’s secretary/assistant and they came back from the States together with two other guards who were watching Nanny Wei...

Huo Shen actually didn’t have plans of sticking around the country, he wanted to complete the inauguration and other important matters in the military before flying back to the States.

"Okay... Detain them all until I recover the footage..." If it was their work, then they would be in some hot soup, did they think he wouldn’t recover footage that has been cleared?
