"Hehehe... It’s good to see you alive! I know you don’t remember us; we are some of the girls you rescued three years ago from the trafficking that was to happen in an orphan and gave us a new home." They can’t blame her that she didn’t recognize them. There were so many of them.

"Three years ago? It couldn’t be longer than a year since I last saved some girls in a certain orphanage! How was that even possible when I was in prison?" She spoke up, confused as they let go.

The current Su Wei Wei looked even more beautiful than she previously was, and her beautiful doll face gave people an idea that she was a little baby and they could squish her chubby cheeks.

"Yeah, you have been missing for two years and a few months now! Where have you been? We have been looking for you everywhere!" They never stopped looking for her, it was just that they had begun to get demoralized after searching without any news for so long.

"I have been gone for that long?" She was shocked because she thought roughly, she had been out there for four months or at most six months, but two full years plus months? She didn’t know for how long they traveled over to the mystical Land and for long she was asleep, but it wasn’t more than five months in the mystical Land.

But how could she have known the timelines were so vast? Five months in the Mystical Land has been two years already! She felt heartbroken. She felt lost, it was so long!

"Yeah! It’s more than two years, we will take you over to the General, she should be in her office handling some paperwork at the moment." They closed the gate after she walked in and locked it up leaving other soldiers to be in charge while they went over to the office.

After walking through the pavement, they came across General Lin Ruo’s office; the soldiers waved, walking away, letting her talk to their general. It’s been two years, and they could see how surprised she was, and she could be having a lot to chat with their general in private.

"Knock knock knock..." She nervously knocked at the door. She didn’t know what to expect; it’s been two years, and people could change.

"Yes, come in..." Su Wei Wei could hear that same voice echoing from inside, welcoming her. She nervously held the doorknob and nudged it inside, opened the door, and walked in.

"Lin Ruo..." Her voice was soft and sobby! General Lin Ruo, who was busy with files and had her head bowed, immediately lifted it, hearing that familiar voice, and you could see the shock on her face.

"Is that really you?" General Lin Ruo’s hands trembled as her eyes watered! Su Wei Wei didn’t wait for her to get up; she lunged into her arms, hugging her tightly on that chair. She had missed her and everyone, and she was glad to see them once again.

"It’s me... I didn’t know it’s been two years! Two years of anguish! Two years of searching! I’m sorry that I’m late, Lin Ruo, I’m sorry that I put through all this pain." She couldn’t help but shed tears.

With all the pain, her eyes watered nonstop and the clear sky also rained with her accompanying her. You could hear the thunderstorms outside that came out of nowhere.

"It’s good that you are back! It’s good! You came back with the rain; it hadn’t rained for the past one and half years; the country was becoming a desert!" General Lin Ruo loved her because of her simplicity and honest virtue.

She saw Su Wei Wei as a not blood-related sister she could relate with.

"Haven’t rained for one and half years? What could have happened?" She now got worried, if it hadn’t rained for that long, then it meant the place had become inhabitable.

With the drought, people could be dying of hunger due to a lack of food!

"Glad you are back! What a good welcome with these rains, let me get a bottle of wine to celebrate your return." She stood up with her as they let go and she opened a store cabinet that was closer by getting a bottle of wine and glasses to toast.

"I guess I’m an already forgotten story! Give me a bottle! I need to drink today." She snatched that whole bottle away and sat down on the carpet before popping the bottle top off and taking a huge gulp.

"No, we haven’t forgotten you, we won’t forget you, everything reminds us of your existence." General Lin Ruo got another bottle and returned the wine glasses to the cupboard before settling down on the floor, and they began drinking.

"Hehehe... I doubt it!" Su Wei Wei laughed it off. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to come back after so long. What if Huo Shen had forgotten and he was starting a new life with another woman? He couldn’t wish to destroy his happiness! Sigh! Fate could be cruel to anyone sometimes.

"Bring those bottles of wine here and let’s drink to the fullest! You are the only person who I think could understand my plight!" She sarcastically spoke up as General Lin Ruo brought more bottles of wine and placed them down there on the carpeted floor closer by where they would easily grab them without getting up.

"I didn’t expect that I would be the first one to see you! Hehehe..." She laughed, gazing at Su Wei Wei, who seemed to be heartbroken. Two years and several months wasn’t a short time for someone to be waiting.

"I guess you should be glad! It’s a history record. Cheers!" She completed another bottle before picking up another bottle.

They had been drinking for the last three hours, and they were dead drunk, wine bottles scattered all over the floor.
