Chapter 465: Chapter 465; She would return to me, right?

He felt her magical energy preserved in the dragon ring getting stirred up, and his body was extremely light and more relaxed than usual; it was like he had been sleeping for several ages and had just woken up with a new body feeling all fresh.

He has been drinking but didn’t stagger nor feel any hangover; he wasn’t experiencing any headaches; it’s like he just received a new body.

"She said I should wait for her, right?"

"She would return to me, right?"

He calmed himself down after a series of questions, but sooner, he got his act together and began cleaning her bedroom. He had turned it into a dumpsite for his alcohol bottles.

He didn’t know for how long he had been sleeping but at the moment, he wanted to be her good man and wait for her to return. He was once again having hopes of seeing her soon. She would come back to him. She was still alive.

After cleaning the room and clearing the garbage, he arranged her closet and everything that was messed up by him; he called Nanny Wei over to assist him in taking the garbage out, changed everything, and brought a new carpet from the store to be installed in her bedroom.

He wouldn’t let her return to that terrible-looking and stinky bedroom he had turned into a dump site.

It was around five in the morning, so when they heard he was cleaning the rooms on the fifth floor, they got up and rushed over to understand what the situation was; what if he had suddenly decided to give up? What was he up to?

"Master Huo...." Huo Zheng was the first one to get over to the study room on the fifth floor, wondering what had come over him to do all this in the early morning.

"What is it?" Huo Shen, who was cleaning the floor around the entrance door of Su Wei Wei’s bedroom, lifted his head and glared at him for disturbing him.

They had actually kept their distance after he became cold and ruthless; they didn’t dare advise him otherwise, but seeing him this up and active, they wondered what could have happened to him at night. Or, could he have completely gone crazy?

"You don’t have to personally clean the rooms, we can do it for you! You just need to sit down and relax." Huo Zheng walked over to assist him in dragging the dirty carpet away, but Huo Shen roughly smacked his hands that were trying to get hold of the carpet.

Huo Zheng straightened his back and took a few steps backward, letting him do the work all by himself. They knew how much he treated that bedroom as his solace and comfort place. All these months, he stayed in her room and forgot that he had a room for himself.

He drowned his sorrows in that room for the past six months, it’s been half a year since Su Wei Wei disappeared, and Huo Shen had stopped living since then.

"I can do this all by myself! How about you take care of the Charity Homes Su Wei Wei left behind and the Company? You have enough work on your hands to handle! Don’t meddle in my affairs!" He dismissed him, and Huo Zheng loudly sighed, taking a few steps backward, and stood closer to Nanny Wei, who had returned from dumping the dirt outside.

Cheng Yi, Huo Qi, and Feng Jiu also came up and joined the two of them. They had kept their distance after he maniacally began killing, and now, they were wondering if they should greet him or not for fear of the unknown! They didn’t want to get on his bad side as they knew how cranky of late he had been.

He busied himself cleaning while they stood there at the door watching wondering what was happening to him! For the last six months, he looked soulless but just over suddenly, he was up and energetic with that smiling face they haven’t seen for several months now.

Could he have suddenly lost himself and depression took over? Huo Zheng didn’t feel like this sudden adrenaline rush was a normal thing to happen to Huo Shen.

He couldn’t stand by and watch, so he went over and held his shoulders, dragging him over to the couch, and forcing him to sit down before settling down beside him. This could be a sudden reaction for someone who could die or commit suicide at any time. He couldn’t think otherwise and ignore all these signs.

"Brother, you will always be my brother. You can cry as much as you want, but you can’t give up just yet! What if she returns? Is she supposed to find a grave? How heartbroken would she be? We haven’t even found her bones, why give up so soon?" Huo Zheng no longer cared about how Huo Shen would react; it was about time they talked it out, as he had been holding everything in! Avoiding him wasn’t going to solve anything, it would only be too late to change the outcome.

"Don’t worry! I haven’t gotten to that stage yet! She told me she would be back soon and I just had to wait for her! I want to make sure her room is sparkling clean and create a better environment for her to return to..." He enthusiastically spoke up as they listened to him, but had he gone crazy?

How could a nonexistent person who could be dead tell him that she would be back? Did she send him a message? Did his brain nuts suddenly loosen? Was this what they called the last stage of depression?

"She told you? Can I see the message that she sent you?" Huo Zheng stretched his hand out to receive the mobile phone; he didn’t want to doubt him and accidentally stimulated him into having severe reactions; he could only act like he believed his words.
