Chapter 462: Chapter 462; Master, It isn’t my fault...
"We are around four tribes, the Phoenix, Griffin, Dragons, and fairies... Each had its own Kingdom: the Dragons were in the Southern parts of the mystical Lands, Griffins in the North, Fairies in the West, and the Phoenix were in the Eastern part... Each has its own territory, but the ones in power right now are the Griffins. To consolidate and cement their supremacy, they need to have the Phoenix Princess as their partner, which is you, and then, any other prince is free to contend, and the best wins...." This was how they played their politics in the mystical Lands; everyone had the freedom to pursue her, but Zhou Ming Tu wanted to imprison her, and she had to choose him without options.
"Interesting! But don’t you think they are just wasting their time on me? After all, I’m nothing but just a simple human waiting to be roasted! How can I be a Phoenix Princess? I am such a powerless girl!" She softly spoke up as her fingers fiddled around.
Haven’t they thought that maybe she wasn’t the girl that had been prophesied? Weren’t they making a fool out of themselves by going after her? But why did it feel like, be it on the Earth or Mystical Land, everyone was obsessed with powers? Why did everyone craze when it came to powers? Can’t they work hard towards it? Did they need to take a shortcut?
’How could they easily believe another person’s words and follow them so blindly? If they failed in their conquest, would they blame her?
"But what if you are the one? What if you are the Phoenix Princess, and you have just forgotten your memories after rising from the ashes? It does happen and it’s a normal thing in your tribe. Don’t you think maybe you are the one who has forgotten everything? You know, we have that special aura that a person can identify the other person with, and I don’t think they could have mistaken you..." She curiously responded eying her as she sat there thinking out loudly.
"Forget it! You won’t understand the exact situation I’m in..." How could she rise from ashes when she was born like any other human being?
But where did this Phoenix Princess go? Why did she run away? Who was she running away from?
"Ohhh..." She went quiet, it was true that she didn’t understand what she was insinuating about. After all, she didn’t see any reason for her to be worried! She was back home, back to the mystical Land where she could cultivate her magical powers.

"Hello, your Highness, Crown Prince...." The handmaidens who were dressing Su Wei Wei up came over to where the Crown Prince was seated having a meeting with some other people who seemed to be elderly people and other youths.
"Anything strange about her? Did you notice anything I should be wary of?" His voice was low and rough, he was playing around the rim of the teacup that was containing already brewed tea. He just let the fingers wander around the teacup rim while his mind wandered around.
He didn’t know how he could take her! But he wasn’t going to let her evolve anytime soon before subduing her and letting her submit to him by herself voluntarily.
"Yes, she seems to have forgotten everything and even her identity, and also, a few minutes ago, her eyes turned purple before fading away once again..." They immediately reported to him, including the fact that his younger sister went over to disturb the Crown Princess.
"Purple eyes?" He froze for a minute, and his grip around the tea cup holder tightened as nerves around his forehead popped out. With exerted force, the little teacup crushed into pieces in his palm; he loosened, letting the tiny pieces fall onto the wooden floor.
"Yes, they turned purple for a few seconds before regaining their normal color..." They hurriedly nodded their heads as the handmaiden who was supposed to serve Su Wei Wei some tea came over to that pavilion.
"You are dismissed!" He dismissed them after all they were done with their chores. The handmaidens walked away to wait for
"Master, she doesn’t like tea! So, I don’t need to serve her." She bowed her head and reported over to him. She had this annoyed look all over her face that meant, she wasn’t going to serve that lowly grade creature who can’t evolve and stuck at being in a human!
She even loathed such a human who couldn’t evolve, but apart from evolving, this human didn’t have any other existing magical aura radiating out of her.
Zhou Ming Tu picked up another empty tea cup that was on the magnolia table before hurling it toward her face; she didn’t dodge it and got hit on the forehead.
"Master...." She was surprised by his sudden outburst, and her forehead was bleeding from that heavy knock she received from the teacup.
"When I tell you to do something, that’s what you are supposed to do! If she didn’t want tea, you could have sat there and accompanied her silently without doing anything; I had my own reasons as to why you needed to stay closer to her... Go and get your punishment." His voice became cold and oppressive. He hated the servants who couldn’t do their job well. More so the ones who thought they had become superior.
"Master... It isn’t my fault that she didn’t want tea... I brewed it for her but she tossed the cup away!" She felt like she was being wronged for the mistakes she didn’t commit. She didn’t think that she was wrong.
She plopped down, going on her knees, and roughly kowtowed, begging for mercy. She knew the punishment wasn’t just getting a beating by a wooden board, but she might end up losing the magical powers she had cultivated all this time. It took her too many years to get to the level she was in.
