She notified her husband and he told her to go over to the hospital to check up on Huo Shi while he went over to the police station with his lawyer to see what they could do so that he could be released on bail.

She walked through the corridor but came across Tang Fei who was also walking through the corridor from the opposite direction with a doctor seemingly discussing something that probably could be her daughter’s health condition.

"Hey, Tang Fei... How are you and the girl?" She had noticed her from a distance but Tang Fei seemed to openly ignore her and actually didn’t stop and neither gazed in that direction, she walked with the doctor past her and headed over to the offices’ side.

Zhou Zan understood that maybe she was overwhelmed with whatever had happened to them and needed to give her time to cool down. Her daughter was brutally beaten up and they as their closest family friends, didn’t show any support, and neither did they visit them during all this time.

She decided to put that at the back of her mind and went over to the wardroom to find her daughter and know to what extent she got wounded and who did that.

Su Qing who had been admitted and her wounds addressed, had gotten up and went over to the reception and inquired about Su Qing’s wardroom and they told her.

She wheeled herself over to the said wardroom and opened the wardroom door walking in, she did a timing when her mother had left, as she didn’t know how to face her with all that had happened.

"Su Qing..." She wheeled inside to see Su Qing seated there on the bed wearing a hospital gown looking thin, she did look a little bit down mood-wise, but she was recovering very well since she could sit.

"Ooh... Did you lose your way?" She sarcastically muttered without gazing at her but she was gazing outside through the wide window that was facing the fields her mind wandering.

"I didn’t lose my way, I wanted to see you, how are you feeling? How have you been?" Huo Shi actually didn’t have plans of mingling with her but now, she thought of her being the best ally she needed when it came to Su Wei Wei, apart from her, they could use Mo Zi Jia, but no one knew where she was, she just went missing and that’s it. But most people thought of the possibility that Huo Shen must have gotten rid of her.

"You already see how I’m and you don’t need to be sarcastic about it. Just go straight to the point, what brought you over here? Because I know, you didn’t come over to see me." She hoarsely muttered without minding her presence.

Her mind was too occupied to be bothered by her presence, she was now crippled, and on top of that, that girl is out of prison, she has been using all means available to let her mother stick around the hospital.

She had even watched her lavish engagement banquet, she could only clench her hands and grit her teeth. Su Wei Wei didn’t deserve any of that! She was supposed to rot in prison forever! How could they set her free? Could they have found the evidence to set her free? How did she come across Huo Shen?

"All right, I will go directly to the point, Su Wei Wei is out of prison, she is studying in Ximena Schools, I came across her today, and she is the one that gave me this hard beating! Have you met her?" She gazed at her but didn’t see any emotion fluctuations on her face and neither be surprised, she sat there without a care.

"I haven’t seen her!" She blatantly denied her claims without thinking about it.

"If you didn’t meet her, then why would my Uncle beat you like that? I saw her today and she was accompanied by my Uncle’s guards and close men, she possibly could be Mrs. Huo, the woman he got engaged to the other day... So, that day, when you went over to the shopping mall bathroom, did you meet her there? Why didn’t you say anything if you have met her?" Huo Shi was slightly mad she was denying that truth! She has met her, she already knew Su Wei Wei was out of prison and yet she didn’t say a word.

"So?" She hoarsely inquired turning around to face her and Huo Shi was disappointed. Why didn’t she alert them?

"You are asking me so? You are such an idiot! Do you know we will get exposed sooner or later? How can you be this stupid?" Huo Shi was infuriated, by the death of the nanny they were involved in that mess, and if Su Wei Wei was set free, sooner or later, she was going to check the details and the manner of that nanny’s death, and if they found evidence leaning towards them, they will be jailed for life!

"Who are you calling idiot? Who do you think you are? Get the hell out of this wardroom!" She yelled out throwing the head pillows at Huo Shi. Huo Shi didn’t wheel herself anywhere but stayed there blocking the pillows thrown at her with her hands.

"Because we could have taken some precautions before she got out! Apart from being crippled, wait until you face a lifetime jail and then you would know what misery really is..." She muttered coldly before turning her wheelchair over to wheel herself away but halted when she heard Su Qing’s voice stopping her.

"You do know there’s nothing to do about that! We already cleaned all the details, and it might take them time to find any evidence, we have time to mess around... And if you don’t open that big mouth of yours, everything should be fine..." Su Qing believed in her men that they must have cleaned up the scene thoroughly and didn’t leave behind any clues.
