Huo Shen wanted to stop her from accompanying him but then recalled the two kids who needed to be checked up on and also have their meals as they may have a challenge going over to the canteen. And also, that school was a new environment to them and only an elder figure could tell if they were okay or not.

They had to be careful when handling those kids, they were already traumatized and they could withstand getting bullied because of fear.

Nanny Wei went over to the other guest room that Feng Jiu was occupying and gently knocked at the door wondering if he was awake.

"Feng Jiu, are you awake? Open up the door and let me see you, this is what your daughter instructed me to do, I have to check up on you on orders, and don’t think I care about you!" Nanny Wei curiously inquired from the door while knocking at it nonchalantly. If it weren’t for Su Wei Wei, she wouldn’t have cared.

"Ye Xin Wei, I want to rest and stop knocking at my door disrupting my sleep! Let me sleep for a while..." A hoarse voice sounded from the guest bedroom and Nanny Wei strode away letting him be. His old bones were exhausted from trans-nighting last night, and the only thing he needed to do at the moment was to sleep and sleep without a disturbance, he wasn’t even feeling hungry.

Nanny Wei went over to their bedroom door and opened it, walking inside before closing it, she could see Tang Wei seated on the bed watching some movies that were airing on the television keeping herself busy.

She looked good and seemed to be recovering very fast, even the wounds were drying up really well, and other wounds that had dried up, the scars were fading away leaving behind a beautiful skin.

"How are you feeling? Do you want anything?" Nanny Wei strode over to the bed and checked her body temperature, she was fine as it was room temperature.

"I’m fine auntie, you don’t have to worry, in no time, I will be energetic enough...." Yes, she could now walk over to the bathroom and back to the bed.

Nanny Wei had served her a flask of porridge and several snacks she could have whenever she felt hungry as she was taking in little by little as her stomach wasn’t accustomed to having too much fluids.

"That’s good, I will be making some lunch and take it over to the school since Huo Shen is going there, I wanted to check on the kids and see if they are coping with the place, and if I realize there’s something wrong, we can withdraw them out of school, it’s not a must they attend there..." Nanny Wei was worried that they would be bullied because of being unable to talk as grown as they are, and if they get bullied, their self-esteem would drop which can be detrimental to their speech development.

"Thank you, Nanny Wei..." She warmly smiled at her feeling glad that they have such a caring family to look out for them!

"You don’t have to... Okay, let me freshen up first..." She went over to the bathroom to clean up first before doing anything.

Tang Wei was recovering and getting better day by day, and hopefully, by next Monday, she could attend school as a normal girl.

Huo Shen strode out of the mansion onto the pavement, he got into the fields before taking a minicar over to the further end of the pavement, he alighted and walked through a building corridor taking the stairs down to the dungeon.

He now had a calm mind and needed to see these stupid women and understand the reason why they had been after him. He doesn’t recall having any feud amongst themselves, he has never wronged them.

He took the stairs down to another floor level, several guards were patrolling along the way, and suddenly the lights were turned on as they normally kept the entire place dark.

For the past three days, they haven’t eaten or received any amount of water to quench their thirst. With darkness as their accompaniment, their sanity was getting consumed little by little without knowing what tomorrow awaited them.

"Welcome over Master..." They saluted him as they trailed behind him, they had lightened the place because of him.

"Well well... You all still do look good! It’s like I’m providing a safe haven for the two of you!" He sarcastically muttered glaring at them with disgust pasted all over his face.

"Huo Shen, what’s the meaning of this? Why are you holding me up? I don’t think I have offended you!" Wang Kang was hungry and exhausted, not only had she not seen water, she hadn’t even smelt the food aroma anywhere apart from the stench she has been smelling coming from God knows where. She felt suffocated and the darkness was slowly consuming her.

Her eyes were sunken, her lips had cracked, and she was almost starting to look like a ghost! Her eyes were dry and emotionless.

"You haven’t? Should I remind you? Mnnh?" Inject her the medicine to wake her up, she needs it..." He coldly instructed his guards, they opened the iron bar door and got inside, they already had the drug prepared and they immediately injected it into her hand vein.

She was chained and no matter how much she struggled, she didn’t move even an inch.

"You monster! Let me go! Let me go!" She screamed out but since she was weak and had been hungry, her voice was weak and sounded like that of a child.
