"Good...." He strode over to the elevator and rode it up to the fourth floor. He didn’t want to go to the fifth floor to check up on Huo Shen as he already warned them from proceeding to that floor. Huo Shen didn’t want anyone going there.

"I will be working in the garden once I’m done cleaning up these things, you can assist me in planting those vegetables..." Nanny Wei didn’t mind that she wanted to accompany her, after all, most of the guards around the compound were all males and if Ya Ya stayed back, then Li Ruo would have gotten someone to train with.

"Sure..." she assisted her in clearing the dining table before walking over to the kitchen to clear the dirty dishes and clean the dining room, sitting area, and the kitchen plus its corridors. The entire place was vacuumed so they didn’t have a hard time when cleaning.

Huo Dong was up a bit later than his usual waking up hours, it was almost seven, and he had already freshened up and dressed in a black suit matched with a white shirt and black leather shoes. He didn’t wear a tie as he hated them.

"Good morning my son! I have plans of going over to the office! I want to pay Huo Shen a visit to his office... " He wanted to meet Huo Shen so that they could talk about the things that were troubling him.

"Father, if it’s my issue, I told you that I would handle them by myself, and let me tell you the truth, you won’t find Huo Shen in any of those offices you want to go to, he rarely goes to the office and the only people you will find there would either be Huo Qi, Huo Zheng or Cheng Yi... They came over last night and we had a lengthy chat, if you are going to disrupt their work once again, Huo Shen will be irritated, you know him, and that would be disadvantageous..." He strongly cautioned him against going there.

He didn’t know much about his brother but he knew that man didn’t like going over there to work, he could manage things from his home office while those others represented him at the company level and things ran very smoothly.

"Good morning Masters!" The maids unisonly greeted them while placing the tray carrying the bowls of food on the table and they nodded their heads as Huo Ting settled down on the dining chair next to Huo Dong.

"Mater, they sent their guards over last night, because we had slept, they waited until now so that they could report, and they have already replaced the military soldiers." He immediately notified him as he had seen and talked to them at the parking lot when he took the files over to pack them inside the car they would be using in traveling.

"Oohh... I knew he would do that!" For his safety, Huo Shen had to deploy his best men to guard him tightly after that betrayal... It was something he expected.

"He did that? What if he is spying on you?" Master Huo was in disapproval of that action. They will be Huo Shen’s watchdog and what if they encounter some danger? Would they wholeheartedly safeguard him? He frowned as deep wrinkles formed around his forehead.

"Father, I already told you to let me handle this situation! Don’t interfere at all!" He gently tapped the back of his old hands comforting him. He no longer had anything to hide, he would rather be spied upon by Huo Shen than get attacked by those enemies in the hiding he has already betrayed.

"Mnnh..." He softly hummed but was not contented with the way Huo Dong was handling the situation. He felt like this son of his was a bit dumb and didn’t know what was expected of him.

The maids switched the television on and the breaking news written in bold letters was scary and frightening.

"What happened while we were asleep?" Huo Dong’s entire body trembled, three-quarters of his government officials were dead, some burnt in a brothel that was bombed, others died of drug overdoses and not only those official government workers, but some other known moguls were dead and most of them died of drug abuse.
