"Did they go off by themselves? Or were they triggered? What could be the reason? Were there intruders? Or attackers?" The reporter inquired asking another question. The bombs weren’t going to go off just all of a sudden, something must have happened and led to that.

"I don’t know what happened and what could have triggered them, maybe it could be the thunder strikes since it rained so heavily last night, and apart from our family members, we didn’t see anyone around the Zhu mansion compound, and we can’t know what could have triggered the bombs!" She hysterically cried explaining what she came across last night through the hiccups, and that was the same story narrated by all the other women and children who survived but a keen person would realize that all the male members of the first lineage of the Zhu family were killed, the ones remaining were from the other families.

No male family member survived this tragedy! How could it be like that as simple as they narrated it to be?

Who could have destroyed the Zhu mansion? Who could have killed them? There was no way only the women and children survived but all the male members succumbed to death! It felt surreal, something fishy was going on!

And this attacker must have had remorse towards the other gender to let them escape without getting hurt.

No matter how the reporters questioned them, those women gave the same response with several versions! The answer was just the same! Or, were they hiding and protecting someone?

There was a rumor that the male members of the Zhu family treated females like slaves and there were rumours of them being violent. Was this a hidden justice game and decided to act innocent?

They just didn’t know how those women had been getting mistreated in that family! It was a nightmare and they felt like, they had just gotten salvation, everything else didn’t matter to them. They couldn’t wait to thank this savior for saving them from these evil creatures!

"Was your husband with you in your bedroom when you had gone to sleep?" Another reporter queried asking another frightened woman. You could see her bruised face and fear written all over her face.

"He told me he was going to have a meeting with his brother, I don’t know what they were going to talk about, after assisting my babies to bed, I went back to my bedroom and hadn’t returned, so I laid down in bed waiting for him but fell asleep until I was awakened by that fierce alarm..." She hoarsely muttered while keeping her head bowed, they were still in their pajamas but their eyes resonated with relief and calmness.

They felt they were finally free and didn’t mind that they were rained on last night, and they were still there until this morning. All they had in mind was that, finally, they could go back to their homes and start their lives afresh.

Since the reporters didn’t get any different version of what transpired, they decided to film the other place with their drones showcasing the amount of damage the bombs and landmines created.

They even showed the road that had been split in half and it was currently impassable.

"Zhu mansion exploded?" Old Master Huo worriedly muttered while gazing at the television news that was being broadcast live. And he could see the amount of damage the bombs did!

Huo Dong who had doubted those tremors last night finally got the answer, it was the Zhu mansion landmines that went off! But how possible was that? He knew they had been secured and wouldn’t go off by accident, they had to be triggered by someone or something.

"What could have happened?" King Arthur curiously inquired gazing at the television too, he didn’t know much and wondered why that place exploded.

"The Zhu mansion compound is covered with landmines and also I think they planted several bombs around their home, but they had signed papers, in case of anything, everything would be blamed on them and for negligence..." It was never advisable to do what they had done in a home where people live, thus, with the occurrence of this incident, no one would be blamed, it’s their fault that the bombs exploded.

This would be concluded as an accident and no one was going to investigate anything about it.

"Oooh..." King Arthur frowned thinking they must have been stupid to do that even though they did it for security purposes, but then again, what were they hiding for them to end up putting those landmines around the compound?

"Yeah..." Huo Dong gazed at the news, the only people who survived were women who didn’t disclose anything apart from the same narrative they had, and with the kids, who knew nothing of whatsoever that was happening as the oldest was around ten years old.

Most of the guards also were buried with Old Master Zhu, Madam Zhu, as they weren’t being seen with the other family members who survived. Other guards had been taken away by Huo Zheng.

Huo Dong didn’t think it was simply just that the landmines and the bombs decided to explode all of sudden, someone decided to get rid of them as he knew they dealt with illegal drugs and firearms... Maybe someone stronger decided to get rid of them. Their enemy in business or opponent.

And who could this be? He immediately thought of Huo Shen, but he knew Huo Shen wasn’t someone who could do that, but at the same time he was someone who could bring the entire Zhu family down with just a thump! He then recalled calling him several times without picking up, was he doing that? Was he the one?

"What do you think?" Old Master Huo also didn’t think it was as simple as they showed on the television, something deeper must be cooking. He knew the Zhu family had been involved....
