Huo Shen who had been waiting for ages was finally relieved seeing those two choppers landing on their field, he got up from the floor and stood there waiting for her.

The place was dark as he had switched the lights off! He felt like only the darkness could accompany him.

"It’s okay father...." She boarded a minicar driving her over to the mansion. She got over and climbed off before strolling over to the entrance door that seemed to be closed but wasn’t locked.

She exhaled and inhaled loudly gently tapping her chest before opening it and walking in, the entire sitting area was dark and empty, with her jade eyes, she didn’t need to switch the lights on to see.. she didn’t know if she was disappointed that he wasn’t there waiting for her or she should be glad he was in bed sleeping!

She strolled over to the elevator to ride it up to the top floor when she suddenly caught sight of a tiny body hiding behind a pillar that was close to the elevator.

"Tang Ying? Why aren’t you in bed standing out here in the cold at this hour?" She hurriedly approached him and squatted before dragging him into her arms hugging him.

"Sis..." He softly muttered as his entire body trembled nervously, he had been standing on the cold floor in such cold weather.

"You can talk? Ying Ying, next time, don’t do this! What if you fall sick? Let’s go, I will put you to bed!" Su Wei Wei softly muttered while she carried him up in his arms and rode the elevator over to the third floor where their bedroom was.

She went over to his bedroom, carefully opened the door, and walked in before placing him in the bed that was opposite the other bed that Tang Ning and Nanny Wei were sleeping on.

"Blood..." He hoarsely muttered as his eyes began watering, how could he not smell that blood scent?

Su Wei Wei tucked him in bed covering him up, "Ying Ying, your elder sister has been busy fighting monsters out there who have been hurting such innocent and beautiful kids like you, this is their blood and not your elder sister’s blood! You don’t have to cry, I didn’t get hurt anywhere!" She carefully consoled him, the good thing was that the dim lights that were left on weren’t so bright that he could see the wounds on her body, by tomorrow morning, they would have self-healed themselves before they could see them.

"Elder sister..." He hoarsely muttered feeling like she was lying to him when she was carrying him, he had felt a stick poking him and he was certain that she was also hurt while hunting the monsters, but since his elder sister didn’t want to tell him about it, he didn’t expose her, the good thing was that she was back home safe and sound.

"Shhh.. go to sleep, see you tomorrow..." She pecked his forehead before tucking him in bed and strolling out of the bedroom afterward, she closed the door before trudging over and rode the elevator up to the top floor.

Her heart was thumping so heavily, nervous, and wondered how Huo Shen was going to react!

She carefully opened the door that led her into the study room but couldn’t feel any heartbeat present in that. She strolled over to her bedroom door tiptoeing and opened the door, the room was completely dark but could see that figure standing at the French window gazing outside.

Huo Shen already noticed someone getting into the bedroom and the first thing he smelt was blood... A smell of fresh human blood, he wanted to rush over and reprimand her, but he held back and stood there like still water.

Su Wei Wei knew it was time to come forward and confess, this man might be fuming mad and didn’t know how to approach her without hurting her.

She walked over in his direction and carefully stood at his back hugging him, "I told you that I will be back home safe she sound, don’t you trust me?" She hoarsely muttered feeling heartache as that cold body was pressed against her chest.

She lifted her head and then noticed the window was slightly left open, she stretched her hand and closed it closing the curtains.

Huo Shen turned around and picked her up strolling over to the couch, he placed her down on the couch while pressing the button to switch the lights on.

With the lights switched on, he could see her from the head over to her legs, her face was dyed with blood that hadn’t dried, her hands were painted with blood, and her clothes were bloodied.

He loudly sighed squatting as he began unbuttoning her cargo shirt, Su Wei Wei noticed what he was doing and hurriedly held his hand stopping him from advancing.

"Ah Shen..."

She hoarsely muttered as her hands slightly trembled, Huo Shen had never been someone to make a first step in undressing her, he must have noticed that she was injured.

"If you don’t remove it, don’t you think it would cause an infection? Keep calm and don’t move around." He gently nudged her hands away before continuing to unbutton her cargo shirt buttons.

He could see that arrow stuck in her fresh, he was feeling heartache and his aura immediately became murderous, Su Wei Wei felt that suffocative aura but didn’t dare to open her mouth! This was a very delicate moment that needed proper handling.
