"Did something happen?" Su Wei Wei worriedly inquired seeing her coming over while her eyes pinned on her indirectly requesting some time to talk.

Ya Ya and Huo Qi were standing just outside the chopper in a distance giving their Missus and Master some privacy since they seemed to be having a matter to talk about.

Su Wei Wei nudged his hands away from her waist as she wanted to get down so that she could talk to Li Ruo, but Huo Shen held her waist tightly and dragged her back into his arms stopping her from moving... "Stay still..." His voice was cold and threatening.

Su Wei Wei turned around to glare at him but all he saw was such a cute and blushing face that was pouting and gazing at him with those puppy eyes. She turned around and faced Li Ruo.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Su Wei Wei didn’t struggle anymore, he let him hold her as much as he wanted. She knew Li Ruo wasn’t here for Huo Shen, he was never someone she needed to report to about work no matter what, she had to go through other channels before getting over to him, and probably use Huo Zheng or Huo Qi to communicate with Huo Shen, for her to show up, then she needed her.

But wait? How did she know she was here? Or Huo Shen was here? Who gave her the information? She turned around and eyed Huo Qi and then to Ya Ya, it didn’t seem like it was these two, maybe it was Huo Zheng.

Can I have a moment with you?" She was nervous seeing Huo Shen hadn’t let go of her, but she was in an emergency, and Huo Qi could see her fidgeting nervously.

She was actually grateful that last night, she narrowly escaped death, and her mind wasn’t in the right state to think about anything thus she opted to look for Su Wei Wei.

Su Wei Wei couldn’t get down from Huo Shen’s lap, he was holding her back so tightly.

"What’s the matter with you?" He rarely acted like this! Sometimes, he couldn’t hold her so intimately for more than a minute.

She lightly wiggled but he exerted more force without letting go of her, his arms wrapped around her waist and her back was leaning on his chest.

"Tomorrow is another day! You can do that! You can go back." He wasn’t planning on letting go of her, after that slight outburst, he felt like it was high time he let her stay at home. It was a good idea.

Now he was more than glad that he would want her to stay at home, what if these kinds of scenarios happened again while she was out there? It was best to lock her up.

"Ah Shen? What’s the matter?" Su Wei Wei felt like he was acting abnormal, he was never this clingy, and she couldn’t say it was a form of clinginess, but domination, those eyes were gazing at her like he didn’t want her to get closer to anyone else at all.

"I apologize, Master Huo, Mrs Huo..." Lieutenant General Li Ruo noticed the situation between these two might be complicated, and before she could make things worse, she turned around to leave.

Su Wei Wei turned around and hurried pecked his lips, in that momentary shock, she hopped off his lap, "Li Ruo, wait..." She rushed over to where she was headed while calling her over.

She turned around and poked her tongue out gazing at Huo Shen mischievously. She came across Ya Ya, she held her hand and dragged her over to where Li Ruo had stopped a distance away.

"Ya Ya, did something strange happen? Do you think I went too far with my actions?" She inquired worriedly as creases formed around her forehead trying to recall something but nothing, she hadn’t done anything to make him feel insecure, Huo Shen knew her face would heal sooner and it shouldn’t worry him, she didn’t have any other serious injuries across her body, but why was he behaving like he would lose her all of a sudden.

"Yes! You went too far, just see how you are looking like a shrimp! So red and swollen without a shape! Anyone who loves would definitely feel heartache once they see you like this!" Ya Ya didn’t say anything else apart from that, but she didn’t know what was the matter with her Missus, she would emotionally lose control and forget it! She always ends up not recalling anything.

"That can’t be the reason! Did you see the way he held me back? Those eyes were telling me that that guy could easily lock me in the house forever and I would never see daylight!" She loudly sighed turning around to eye him. That guy had his head bowed while talking and conversing with Huo Qi...

"You are overthinking!" Ya Ya jokingly tapped her shoulders getting rid of her nervousness, of course with her emotions going rampant for some reason, he wouldn’t mind locking her up at home.

"Mnnh... Li Ruo, what’s the matter? Did something happen?" After satisfying her curiosity, she queried eying Li Ruo who was fidgeting around with her fingers looking nervous.

"With your reminder last night, I managed to escape death! But right now, I have a problem, I’m unable to contact one of my many teams that had gone out of the country for a secret mission, and this morning I received an important notification, you warned me last night that I shouldn’t go out of the camp, but I can’t stay here and wait to receive their dead bodies! I need to rescue them" She was worried and nervous. Her eyes were darting all over the place anxiously.
