Rebirth; Illegitimate Daughter Turns Tides
Chapter 269; Good morning Hubby...

Chapter 269: Chapter 269; Good morning Hubby...

Su Wei Wei merrily skipped over getting closer to the office desk when she saw it was him, he was wearing black from his shirt to the shoes. This man’s favorite color seemed to be black.

"Good morning handsome..."

"Good morning Hubby!"

"Did we sleep together?"

"Did we mwah mwah?"

Last night, she was too exhausted to even recall what time they arrived and how they arrived.

She doesn’t recall feeling anyone beside her, probably he had slept in his room.

Huo Shen lifted his head and slightly eyed her with a stern face, his eyes squinting at her dangerously.

"Tsk! Too grumpy so early in the morning!" She coldly tainted him but it was inaudible. She pursed her lips in annoyance, this was the reason most people stayed away from Huo Shen, this guy could easily be cranky and sometimes kill someone because of such kind of a mood.

He bowed his head and pressed several keyboards across his laptop seemingly fixing something.

He looked so handsome and untainted with his head bowed like that, but the moment he lifted his head and eye you, then you would realize how sharp and unwelcoming those eyes were, with his head bowed, he looked ethereal, nothing was more attractive than a man busy working, from every angle, he looked fascinating.

After several seconds, he hoarsely hummed disinterested, "Mnnh..." He seemed to be done with what he was doing on the laptop, switched it off, and carefully packed it away into a black office leather briefcase with other files that were strewn on the table.

He carefully tied up his office desk making sure it was neatly arranged.

After finishing up, he locked the drawers, got up, and gently nudged his office chair backward with the back of his legs before walking forward.

"Follow me..." He took that school bag away from her shoulders and strode ahead while Su Wei Wei skipped from behind. She wasn’t bothered by his crankiness. It’s up to him.

"Tsk, who cares if you don’t speak? Thank goodness I chose school, I would be bored to death if I had to stay indoors with such a cranky man! Tsk..." Su Wei Wei was feeling bitter. This guy was the epitome of superiority.

She suddenly realized that this choice was perfect and approved of his strictness, if not, she would have suffered in the house staying closer to such a moody person.

But actually, Huo Shen was feeling slightly unwell, he drank a lot last night, but that’s not all, the entire night was awakened by nightmares, and he didn’t have any sleep.

Now that combined with a hangover, this guy was in a terrible mood.

"Did you say something?" Huo Shen could hear her little murmurs behind him probably reprimanding him.

"Did I?" She snorted trailing behind him while using her eyes trying to check his body if at all, he was feeling bad, of course, she knew he was cranky, but it couldn’t be this worse, right?

He abruptly halted and turned around, seeing him stopping, she also stopped in her footsteps just behind him. He turned around to face her.

He instinctively bowed his head gazing at her ankle and noticed the anklet was there even though he knew she didn’t have any means of removing it, but it was covered by the socks.

He had to make sure she had it all the time.

"What happened now?" Su Wei Wei strolled over inquiring curiously seeing him gazing at her legs.

"Nothing..." He exited the room through a mahogany door getting into the corridor before getting inside an elevator that was made of glasses.

Su Wei Wei wondered if they shared a room or if it was just that his office room was inside her room. She didn’t understand the design of the house.

They rode the elevator down to the ground floor and Su Wei Wei who was curious instinctively counted the floors, There were five of them with their floor included and it was the top floor.

"Ah Shen, where is this place?" Su Wei Wei curiously inquired even though he was cranky, they still needed to talk and if he dared give her that attitude, he would fight him. Her eyes roamed around the place, she never knew a house like this existed. Not now nor in her previous life.

"Our home... While we got engaged, my men moved everything here, we didn’t leave anything there that should worry you...." His voice was raspy as they alighted and strolled over into the sitting area before strolling over to the dining room.

The sitting area had a different set of couches, the place was more delicate and fancy, and most of the things everywhere were made of glass.

The dining area was huge, three times compared to the other mansion, the table was a rotating one with several chairs around it that could host twenty to thirty people.

"Our home? What about the other one? Wasn’t that our home?" Su Wei Wei was surprised that he had another mansion apart from the other two, she had thought if they left the other mansion, they would end up in the streets.

Why was he so adamant in destroying it the previous night if his brother came over to stay with them? She convinced him thinking they would end up in the streets, but no, he had such a huge mansion.

"The other one, I left it for my father, didn’t you tell me it would be a loss if I graced it down to ashes?" He turned around eying her curiously. He was a gentleman and he decided to solve this beef harmoniously.

"Yeah, I did! But, wait wait wait..." She held his arm stopping him from moving forward, "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t let them stay in that mansion no matter what? What about your memories? Your mother’s memories? Our memories" Su Wei Wei was confused by this guy’s thinking. That house also had their memories, how could he leave like that?
