He slightly smirked knowing what she was thinking deep down and all the wires were just to cajole him, her eyes didn’t lie how smitten she could get gazing at Huo Shen, and of course, her mind was on Huo Shen and this guy didn’t allow any other woman to get any closer to him apart from Su Wei Wei, Huo Dong was waiting for the perfect time to get rid of Princess Aryana and he knew Princess Aryana was also working on the means she could upgrade to Huo Shen and get rid of him.

After a few minutes of dancing, the song slowed down and concluded as they all came to a halt.

"Thank you for such sweet entertainment, now, I would request them to choose their next dancing partner of your choice, whoever you want to dedicate this second dance to...." The MC announced and everyone wanted to know who would be chosen by these lovebirds.

"Who do you want to choose?" Huo Shen curiously inquired slightly worried about her feelings getting hurt, she currently belonged to the Huo family, and he hadn’t seen anyone from the Su family in attendance, he slightly felt bad that apart from him and Nanny Wei, it didn’t seem like there was anyone else she knew that was present.

The two of them were the only family she had! He knew she wasn’t ready to acknowledge any other family apart from the little family she has now...

"You want to pick Nanny Wei?" Su Wei Wei warmly smiled at him gazing at Nanny Wei and the kids seated at the table close by. That was the direction Huo Shen’s eyes were pinned and Su Wei Wei understood. They both had her, she was her adoptive mother and probably her auntie, and to Huo Shen, we could say, she was his mother, who had brought him up from a young age.

"You can pick her if you want to go first, I can stand there and watch! I can dance with her when you are done." He was okay just to miss on that so long as he gave her that chance but Su Wei Wei knew how much Nanny Wei meant to Huo Shen, she was like his mother, and she opted to let him have the go first as she could do it later, she wasn’t bothered that no one was there for her, so long as Huo Shen was there that was enough, seeing him happy mattered the most.

Huo Dong already picked his father while Princess Aryana picked his father and they were standing on the dancefloor already, and they readily began dancing.

"I will dance with her after you are done, it ain’t that urgent, and it’s okay with me really, you can go first..." She gently tapped on his shoulders assuring him before strolling over into the middle of the hall, she knew he could give way for her and persuade her to dance with Nanny Wei first, thus, she walked faster to the back of the hall letting him take Nanny Wei as his second dance partner, all the guests were eying her wondering who she had in mind to pick.

She walked to the other end of the hall and stood in front of a woman wearing a black matte military uniform, she kept her head bowed like someone thinking and looked a little isolated and going about her things as she was holding her phone and probably going through some work she had downloaded earlier on as there was no network inside the hall.

"Lieutenant General Li Ruo, may I receive the honor to dance with you?" Su Wei Wei smiled at her while she stretched her hand out waiting for her response.

"Aaah?" Li Ruo who had kept her head bowed immediately lifted it up in surprise, this girl was standing in front of her with her hand stretched out. She did hear it was time for dancing and she had watched them dance, but when it came to choosing a second partner, she opted to check her phone out until the music began playing, but seeing her in front of her, then obviously she chose her.

"What? Do you think I can’t match and dance up to your standards? How about you try me?" Su Wei Wei jokingly chuckled seeing that confused face she had seen a million times in her past life. Actually, when she was looking for her, she hadn’t thought she was present, and this was one thing she would gladly gift her.
