"Shouldn’t we at least pick him up and take him back to the city for medical emergency treatment?" Wei Tang gazed into the cave worriedly. Actually, he hadn’t seen anything Su Wei Wei did there apart from the secret agents who were inside.

"Did she tell you to touch him? Do you have the means to leave this place? And how many hours do you think we will take to fly from here to the city for that ’emergency medical checkup?’" Huo Zheng didn’t know how Wei Tang could be this stupid! Moving a poisoned person was the same as accelerating the length of poison spreading.

"Ooh.." Wei Tang kept quiet all speechless! It was true, it would take them almost two hours to get over to the city center and admit him to the hospital, this poison was a matter of five minutes and Huo Shen would be completely gone.

Huo Zheng scrutinized him before gazing at Huo Shen, he seemed to be able to move his body a little.

"Where is she? I heard her voice! Where did she go?" Huo Shen who had finally opened his eyes after thirty minutes gazed around searching for her! It wasn’t a dream, he heard her, she was there! She held him in her arms! He has never been mistaken.

"She?" Huo Zheng strolled over to where he was seated and assisted him to get up from the floor, Huo Shen could feel his legs and was surprised that his body felt more than normal apart from the few headaches and weakness of the joints he was experiencing!

"Where is she?" Huo Shen hoarsely inquired as you could see the veins around his forehead bulging even though he was wearing his mask. He was afraid and wondered what could go wrong!

"Su Wei Wei?"

"She is...."

"She is out there..." He assisted him out of the cave into the forest and at a distance, he could see a black charred body lying there lifelessly.

"What happened to her?" He froze for a minute before nudging Huo Zheng’s hands away and staggered over to the ground where she was lying.

He went down onto his knees after getting closer and picked up her charred body into his arms protectively even though he was holding some bones.

"What happened to you?" His eyes teared up! For the very first time, he was feeling pain, that pain he had felt when he lost his mother, it has happened once again.

"Don’t worry! I will be fine! I still have one life remaining!" She hoarsely muttered while pasting an awkward smile on her face as she lifted her hand but she was too weak and only the charred meat was peeling away little by little with a new skin regenerating.

The secret agents felt like she was an alien and a monster that could survive those three thunderbolts, but Huo Shen saw his girl, the girl he had learned to care for. The girl who had found her way into his heart.

He removed his suit coat, shirt, and vest, even though they weren’t that clean, they would at least cover her body from all the naked eyes even though the body was charred and unrecognizable. He covered all over tying them around her body before hugging her tightly.

Those sunken eyes looked like a roaming ghost! They were no longer purple or emerald, they were totally white. The pupil was black, the Iris was cream white and the sclera was completely spotless white. They were a bit scary to look at.

"Ah Shen, how are you feeling? Are you feeling bad anywhere?" She hoarsely inquired while stretching her hand out searching for his face, Huo Shen held her hand and directed it over to his face letting her touch it.

He was more saddened to realize she wasn’t seeing his face, a tear dropped one by one sitting down on the ground and sat there hugging her tightly in his arms, it was just the two of them and no one existed, even though she was stinking because of the charred meat of her body, he couldn’t stop hugging her so closely.

He had never thought at one time he would experience this kind of pain once again! He felt like his heart was being wretched and torn into pieces! He wanted to protect her and not vice versa. He wanted to be her shield.

"Wei Wei..." He hoarsely muttered with a heavy heart. He knew he was worthy of it but he wasn’t ready to see her like this! He didn’t mind losing this one life, so long as she didn’t feel any pain.

"Ah Shen..." She hoarsely muttered as she touched his teardrop. Now her heart felt calm knowing it was worth it and he appreciated it! She could sacrifice anything and everything for him but if he wasn’t grateful, she would take back everything.

"You shouldn’t have! I owe you an entire life!" He hoarsely muttered as he turned his face to the other side tears welling his eyes. She was the first person to unconditionally rescue him and sacrifice her life for him. He deeply felt special.

"Hehe... It’s better to owe me than lose you completely! Life would be meaningless without you here to nag around! You are just as important!" She hoarsely muttered blinking her eyes just as usual acting adorable, but there was nothing like adorable there, she looked worse than a malnourished kid.

"Hehe..." He softly giggled wiping his tears away! Even in such kind of a situation, she could still find a way to crack jokes and relax the tense atmosphere in between.

"Do you think that I’m stupid?" She hoarsely muttered while snickering! You could live only once, and if her heart wished to give it all to him, she would! Just because at one time she had given her life and love to the wrong person, it didn’t mean everyone would be the same as the man she had once given herself to wholeheartedly.
