After having a few spoonfuls of congee, he lifted his head gazing to the hallway his hands leaning onto the countertop comfortably.

He slightly frowned not seeing her trailing behind Tang Ying after a few seconds passed by as he thought she had gone to see if Tang Ying was awake and since he was, shouldn’t she be tagging behind him?

He stopped wondering and stood there having his congee waiting for her, after that kidnapping incident, all the times, he had been overthinking even when they were inside the mansion.

At the dining table, Tang Ying greeted them with his proficient sign language.

Huo Dong lifted his head and eyed him while nodding his head respectfully, those ocean-blue eyes were alluring, and his black hair made him look like a sophisticated young master from a famous household and the only default in him was his lack of speech.

He was humble and down to earth, Huo Qi, Huo Zheng, and Cheng Yi nodded their heads as they greeted him. Checking him out and his sister, they didn’t seem to be twins, but that’s what Tang Wei had stated to Su Wei Wei, there was nothing wrong with it as there were several kinds of twins, they did resemble one another but had different facial features.

Tang Ying’s facial features were aligned more to foreign types of facial features compared to Tang Ning who had a few Asian features even though they were mild.

After greeting everyone, he settled down beside his sister and pecked her cheeks and asked if she was okay, and she nodded her head telling him, it was better than the Tang family. She elegantly ate her potato wedges while Nanny Wei added soy milk to her glass. She seemed to be enjoying it.

She also served Tang Ying who signaled ’thank you’ before he began having his breakfast, he was also allergic to eggs, but his mannerisms were just the same as Tang Ning and Nanny Wei like they attended the same school and were taught by the same teacher.

Su Wei Wei stood up and walked over to the wall mirror at the sink gazing at that image reflecting in the mirror. She now didn’t want to see her hair silver-white, she hated it.

She went through the cabinets of the further storage wall searching for hair dyes and came across a red hair dye. She immediately mixed the content before applying it to her hair and waited for ten minutes, then she washed it partially to see if it had changed the color, but it was the same, so she decided to wait for another ten minutes before washing it off.

After several dying, washing, dying, and messing around the sink, she still didn’t manage to change her hair color not even a slight change could be seen, it was sparkling silver white and more shiny, and instead of even darkening, it brightened which irritated her even more.

"Damn!" She slowly grunted and tried to find another hair dye color since these other colors weren’t working.

The entire washroom floor plus sink were now messed up with the dye splashed all over the place but she went on without giving up. She was determined more than ever to change its color.

The dining table was quiet as everyone enjoyed their breakfast, Huo Shen who was feeling better after finishing his congee placed the bowl inside the sink before wiggling his wristwatch and checking what time it was.

She had gone for almost forty-five minutes now and he couldn’t wait any longer, he was already getting impatient, so he strolled through the hallway over to the guest room.

He opened the door and walked in, but couldn’t see anyone, the beds were neatly made and the duvet covers were folded and placed on one side of the bed.

"Wei Wei..." He moved over to the washroom door calling her name when he heard some water splashing inside.

He gently knocked at the washroom door two times while calling her but she didn’t respond, and the door wasn’t answered.

He held the door handle and turned it downwards before pushing it in, and it opened, he peeked inside first before opening it completely.

"Wei Wei, what are you doing?" He walked over to her seeing her looking frustrated and holding scissors gazing at the mirror in front of her.

"Hehehe, nothing...." She turned around to face him while holding a pair of scissors hiding it behind her back even though Huo Shen already saw it, she wanted to cut it down, she could wear wigs if this hair didn’t want to be dyed to any color she wanted.

How could Huo Shen not tell those frustrated and angry eyes? How could he not see what had been happening around the washroom with the dye all over the place?

"If you ain’t doing anything, then let’s go over to your bedroom and let Huo Qi clean up the bathroom..." He stretched his hand out for her to hold on to, but they still stayed hidden at her back without moving.

"Go on... I will come over..." She smiled before gazing at that image in the mirror, she didn’t want this hair. Why wouldn’t it change to the color of any dye?

Huo Shen strode forward and before she could react, he snatched that pair of scissors away tossing it onto the floor before hugging her in his arms.

"If it isn’t working, you don’t need to cut it down! You are just as beautiful as you are now..." He hoarsely muttered comforting her. She didn’t need to look like anyone else, she just needed to be herself!

"I don’t want it... Can I cut it down?" She weakly swayed falling into his arm exhausted.

Huo Shen held her before picking her up and strolled out of the guest room into the hallway before taking the stairs up to her bedroom.

He opened her bedroom door and walked in before placing her on the dressing chair gazing at the huge mirror in front of them.
