"Wei Wei..." Nanny Wei who was cooking turned around and eyed her, she placed the spoon down stopping what she was doing, and held her shoulders turning her around checking her all over the body.

"Good morning momma..."

"Don’t worry, I’m perfectly fine, instead, how are you? How are you feeling?" She held those hands that were holding her shoulders kneading them gently while moving them to her front.

"I’m fine, do you want anything? Should I serve you some porridge?" She checked her out before gazing at Huo Shen who was busy on his iPad.

"I want to make some mild sweet congee for him, his stomach is a little bit frail today..." She didn’t need to hold his hand to know he wasn’t feeling that well. He was having a stomach mild inflammation and having some congee would be better than heavy meals.

"Okay, I’m done here, the kitchen is all yours, I will serve the others..." She got a clean apron from the countertop drawers and passed it over to her.

"Thank you, momma..." She received and wore it before going into the walk-in refrigerator. She picked up fresh ingredients, most of them, they harvested from the backyard garden.

She got the ingredients placed them on top of the side of the sink, and began cleaning them up before chopping.

/Life is short/" she softly muttered swinging around while making that congee that most was herbal.

Nanny Wei brought all the food she had prepared and placed it on the dining table.

Good morning..." She had greeted a few of them.

"Good morning Nanny Wei..." They echoed together.

"Good morning Nanny Wei, you don’t have to serve me, i’m waiting for Wei Wei to make something for me ..." He didn’t want to say he wasn’t feeling okay and worry them.

"Okay..." Nanny Wei nodded her head understanding since Su Wei Wei had told her earlier on that he wasn’t feeling well.

She served all the others while Mo Zi Xue sat there quietly, she didn’t do anything that could embarrass her further.

Tang Ning signaled her to just serve her some soy milk first, she was allergic to eggs and if the deep-fried dough had eggs, she wasn’t going to eat them.

Nanny Wei nodded her head, she didn’t know any sign language but she barely understood as Tang Ning pointed at them.

Huo Shen who had watched her sign, knew Nanny Wei might not understand some parts as her signing was that advanced.

"She said, she can’t have eggs and deep-fried dough sticks because she is allergic to eggs..." Huo Shen interpreted before Nanny Wei could think she didn’t want to eat her food.

"Oooh okay..." Nanny Wei was okay, she wasn’t going to force her to eat anything she didn’t want.

Huo Shen passed his iPad over to Huo Zheng before getting up and strolling over to the kitchen.

He walked through the door and could see Su Wei Wei who was preparing some congee and swinging around while words escaped out of her mouth.

She enjoyed cooking while singing or listening to music and dancing.

He held her hand and swirled her around while the other hand held a wooden spoon that she was using to stir the congee.

"Why did you come over you? It’s greasy in here ..." Su Wei Wei frowned looking at his well-fitting suit. The color was good and suited him, his hair had a low cut.

He was becoming a little cranky and he wanted to hold her for a few minutes before he could be fine.

"Can’t I watch you cook?" He retorted back while gazing at what she was cooking, and he could see the herbs that were neatly chopped. This should be one of her herbal congee.

"But it’s oily in here and your clothes could easily be stained! Don’t dirty them.." Su Wei Wei was worried about this suit! All his clothes were custom-made and cost a fortune, she wasn’t going to let him destroy them right?

"Don’t mind about clothes, I can always change them... I need to keep watch over you so that you don’t end up getting burns with your carelessness..." He hoarsely muttered while holding her hand and swirling her around like they were dancing to a quiet song.

Su Wei Wei felt like laughing, how could such a grown woman like her easily get burned by the fires? They were using an Induction for God’s sake and she had spent her entire life in the kitchen cooking. This was the simplest chore for her.

He was very clingy and Su Wei Wei found it to be a little bit adorable. She tossed the spoon into the sink and let the congee simmer while she hugged him.

"We will be all right, right?" She was worried that whatever happened yesterday would happen again! She didn’t want anyone to sacrifice their lives for her. Tang Wei was already lying down on that hospital bed because of that.

"Everything is okay... You just need to stop worrying and be a beautiful bride!" He gently hugged her back! He truly needed it after yesterday’s emotional turmoil. He needed to feel her presence.

"Huo Shen... " Nanny Wei walked into them having that tight intimate hug! Was he trying to integrate her body into his body?

"Nanny Wei, just go back to the dining room and have your breakfast, someone else will clean the kitchen..." He didn’t want to let go, but he let go knowing Su Wei Wei was a shy person but still held her hand.
