They walked in and placed the tray on top of the bedside drawer before exiting and closing the door behind them.

"Get up and eat something before you could sleep..." He settled down on the bed just beside her and gently tapped her shoulders, Su Wei Wei who was half asleep immediately sat up snapping her eyes open.

She had been hungry for the longest time and she felt like soon her stomach would go backwards. He ruffled her hair before opening the bowls, and checking out, that it had some nutritional soup, he got the tablespoon and gave her the bowl of soup.

"Have that first..." He gave her and she immediately received it, she didn’t need a spoon at this moment, she pressed the bowl across her lips and gulped the warm content down her throat, having it by a spoon would only delay her.

"Take it slow..." Huo Shen slightly frowned seeing her acting like this! It wasn’t like she had been starved for a few days, it’s just been a day but she was acting more callous than the kids.

"I don’t have time, I’m hungry, and why are you still wearing that mask? Are you trying to scare me?" She pouted her lips glaring at him with those dark purple eyes of hers.

"I wasn’t trying to scare you! We have just gotten here..." He loudly sighed before removing the mask, it was better to see her lying here and nagging him all the time than receiving a cold body, her presence meant everything to him.

"Oooh... You can go ahead and eat, don’t mind me..." It has been an exhausting day today and she knew how worried he was before finding her.

He had every right to get a warm bath and relax his tensed-up muscles.

"Okay then, once you are done, you can get a warm shower too before laying back down on the bed..." With that assurance that she was in his house, he walked out of the bedroom into the hallway closing the door. He had picked up his mask and holding it with his long fingers.

He went over to his bedroom, he truly needed a warm shower and some rest. The day has been too hectic for him.

After a few minutes, the kids were done with their food, their table manners were better than those ill breeds brought up in the aristocratic families. Their manners were so better and they served what they could finish without leaving a single grain of rice on it.

"Let’s go, I will take you over to a good room where you will sleep in after taking a shower..." She held their little hands leading them and took them to the left side of the hallway where they had two to three guest rooms positioned there.

She unlocked the door walking in, it was sparkling clean, she just needed to find a few bed covers and sheets to make the bed before they could lie on.

"Should I assist the two of you?" Nanny Wei queried before doing anything once they got into the room.

They shook their heads and with signs, they told her they were okay and able to take a shower by themselves, the boy let his sister take the shower first before him. The room had two beds and Nanny Wei thought this set-up was better than each occupying one guest room, with fear, they couldn’t accept being separated.

She walked over to the cabinets and got clean blue bedsheets for one of the beds and pink ones for the other bed. She also got comfortable warm heavy covers they could use, one was pink and the other one was blue. In a few minutes, she was done.

She got towels from the cabinets and gave them one each, she also got new toothbrushes, and she placed every kind of hygiene product on the shelves before walking out of the washroom giving her privacy.

"I think it’s all good now, let me try and see if I can find suitable clothes for the two of you..." Nanny Wei strolled out of the guest room over to the hallway before walking out of the mansion over to the other side of the mansion where she had a small house all to herself.

It had a small sitting area, dining room, a bigger kitchen, a huge washroom, a walk-in closet and a master bedroom, at the closet, she had a few kids’ clothes, it’s just that, they were a bit smaller than them but they could wear it for the time being until tomorrow.

Returning back into the mansion, Nanny Wei noticed the old man walking over to the dining area.

"Nanny Wei, are they back? Where are they?" When he noticed her, he worriedly inquired sitting down at his dining chair wondering how come they were so late to come back.

"Yeah! They went back to their bedrooms to rest since they had eaten out, give me a minute and I will come over to serve you..." With that, she hurried over to the guest room and knocked at the door.

The boy strode over to the door opening it, and Nanny Wei gave him those pieces of clothes she had found. With signs, he said thank you.

"You can get some rest and lock your door, good night, see you tomorrow..." She bent over and kissed his forehead feeling heartache, how could such cute babies be mute and unable to talk even though they could hear?

Not that they were unable to talk but rather for the fact that they had been inflicted with trauma since birth that traumatized them and couldn’t speak even if they wanted to.

He nodded his head before closing the door and went over to the couch sitting down and waited for his sister to finish up before he could.

His eyes darted around the place checking it out, it could be said that this was a rich household, not that they preferred them because of their richness, but they felt welcomed and the place felt more homely, they could relax their vigilance.
