Several shrieking screams echoed from their backs sending chills down their spines as their legs felt heavy, gazing at their backs, that gruesome scene scared their little hearts away as they missed several beats.

They accelerated, running as fast as they could! That wolf had already caught one human and it was strangling her on the grounds. They didn’t dare check out who it was, this time, it was their legs and the distance.

Before they could be its next meal, they could only run forward breathlessly as tears welled down their cheeks out of fear of the unknown, nothing was scary like this! At the fields, they had given up and knew at any moment, they would die, but here, imagine having to save yourself from these wild animals, with hopes, that chances of survival were 50/50 for each of them, and the only thing they needed to do was run for their lives.

Huo Shen arrived back at the military academy camp and once the propeller had cooled down, he immediately alighted and strolled over to the hospital with his eyes glued to the iPad seemingly still cracking some codes. Every time he cracks a few and seemingly looks like it’s progressing, it suddenly gets attacked by viruses.

So far, he hadn’t progressed much and he was getting annoyed with all this! Who was this smart to inflict viruses after clearing the data that were troubling him?

"Commander Huo, I will go over to the office and start working on these things immediately!" Sergeant Mu immediately excused himself! Now, he was Sergeant and had work to do apart from arranging Sergeant Tu’s post-mortem procedures, he had these kids to settle.

He also had six soldiers answering to him, he needed to know them and take care of the situation before they could be affected.

"Okay... You can call Huo Zheng if you come across any challenges..." With that Huo Shen strolled over to the entrance door walked into the hospital, passed by the reception desk and went over to the wardroom through the hallway.

He held the door knob turning it downward to open the door, but it didn’t budge! Huo Qi had locked it from the inside.

"Who is it?" Huo Qi who had heard that clicking sound of the door knob, inquired first before he could open it! If it were the doctors, he would send them away.

"It’s me...." Huo Shen’s rough voice echoed and you could tell he was in a cranky mood from its hoarseness. He hurriedly removed the lock and opened the door stepping aside and letting them in before closing the door.

It was Huo Shen, Huo Zheng and two soldiers who were wearing a different set of uniforms. They were both girls. He removed his gloves and tossed them over to Huo Zheng who caught them and placed them inside his cargo pants side pocket.

"What happened to them?" He frowned walked over to the hospital bed and settled down on the empty side gazing at Su Wei Wei’s silver-white hair.

"They fainted!" Huo Qi didn’t know what else to say apart from the fact that they fainted after gazing into her eyes.

"Oooh...." Huo Shen was also marvelled at her strange hair colour change... He stretched his hand and gently caressed it, his crankiness immediately faded away feeling refreshed... He squinted his eyes checking her face out.

"Master, do you feel anything different?" Huo Qi wanted to confirm that whatever he felt earlier on wasn’t a delusion but a reality.

"Did you touch it?" With an angry face, Huo Shen abruptly turned his neck around and gazed at Huo Qi condescendingly.

Huo Qi just needed to say yes and he would know what true terror was, their gazes met and those sharp scary eyes were like a predator waiting for him to say yes!

’This damn mouth!’ he inwardly cursed inside his heart, "it’s these doctors that said something was strange with her hair!" He innocently came up with a better explanation and the earlier cold air dissipated bringing in a warm aura.

"Ohhh! They were just scared, nothing strange about her hair! It’s just like your hair, the only difference is the colour..." With that, he turned around and gazed at Su Wei Wei who was laying there so quietly as an immortal Goddess.

Nothing much changed apart from her facial features, they were more streamlined and her skin was flawless, you couldn’t tell it was the same body as the one that had been brought over after that gruesome accident.

"Wei Wei..." While caressing her hair, he gently called her name gazing at those closed eyes. Huo Qi and Huo Zheng stood aside and eyed him studying this gentle side of him.

They never thought he would ever be this caring and gentle, with Mo Zi Jia, he was never like this, it was true that where a man felt settled would defy all his norms to dote on that person.

"Mnnh? Is that you Ah Shen?"

"Wuuuhh.... I thought I won’t ever see you again!" She got up and lunged into his arms without a care. She was afraid that she would never be able to see him again. She sobbed inconsolably and Huo Shen’s heart ached seeing her crying but her tears were coagulating into purple pearls accumulating on her lap.

The soldiers were surprised and so did Huo Zheng and Huo Qi, they didn’t know where Huo Shen had gotten those purple pearls from, and now knowing where they came from, they felt like vomiting! How dare this man feed them his fiancé’s tears so shamelessly?

"Am sorry, I came to you so late, look at your lap..." Huo Shen let go for her to see her lap, the tears she had just cried were pearls now.

She lifted her head and sheepishly smiled at the soldiers, Huo Zheng and Huo Qi who were gawking at her like she was some alien! Was it that expensive to cry for her?
