Huo Qi who was left alone in the wardroom, lifted his head letting his eyes scan around the room and check for any surveillance cameras, but there was none installed in there, so he was free to do anything without having to be reprimanded by Huo Shen.

He loudly exhaled before walking over to the hospital trolley bed and bent over gazing at that silver-white hair before touching it! But he immediately withdrew his hand after feeling a slight tickle.

He had forgotten that their Missus was sick but at the moment, he was marvelled by her silver white hair and couldn’t stop his hands from touching it and feeling the experience, he hadn’t gotten enough of it, so he bent over and touched it again. He again felt the same tickle around his fingers, he wasn’t overthinking but her hair tickled his fingers.

"Strange..." He softly muttered while gazing at those closed eyes and stretched his hand out in the plan of touching it and caressing it to feel it once again, but his gaze suddenly met those blazing dark purple eyes that you couldn’t even notice the black pupil.

"Aaah?" Huo Qi freaked out as he stumbled backwards in fright! Those eyes were too scary and even felt like he was being sucked into this anonymous endless dark hole.

He hurriedly rubbed his eyes trying to clear his delusioned eyes! That strange feeling made his head feel heavy with sharp headaches.

"Are you trying to take advantage of this ajumma while she is recuperating?" That voice was hoarse and taunting. Huo Qi immediately averted his eyes as he let a soft grin be pasted on his face.

"Close your eyes first!" He felt like she was gazing deeper into his soul stripping him of his clothes! But above that, those eyes were hypnotizing.

"What happened? Did her condition deteriorate?" Some two doctors who were passing by the corridor rushed in only to come face to face with those glaring purple eyes.

They immediately froze there without making a single move keeping their gazes glued into her dark purple eyes and after a few seconds, they were sucked into those eyes opening up an unknown world to them before falling onto the floor.

"Thud!" They began snoring there and then.

"What.. what happened to them?" Huo Qi didn’t manage to stop them from entering as he was still in shocked mode but his eyes immediately widened upon seeing them going down like that.

"Dreamland! They should be having some sort of sweet dreams!" With that, she closed her eyes and fell back to sleep but Huo Qi noticed her earlier scarred skin was healing itself as the wounds closed themselves up.

Huo Qi felt relieved seeing her eyes closed, but what was he going to say about these men lying on the floor? And when were they going to wake up? He wanted to ask her but still, his heart was afraid.

He stood there at the door making sure no one came in, until they woke up. He didn’t have any reasonable explanations he could make without making everything seem fishy.
