She suddenly heard heavy rumbles of a chopper! She slightly frowned, she had thought he was staying in his study room attending virtual meetings since he had several companies in the States that were doing better than the Huo Conglomerate back home and needed his guidance, but no, he was flying out.

"Wasn’t he staying in the mansion inside his office study room?" She worriedly inquired as she peeked out of the Jeep window gazing up to the sky and she could see it flying away. Huo Shen preferred moving around with his chopper compared to cars.

"He isn’t going anywhere far, he is within, he personally has to urgently attend to some things in the military academy camp..." Huo Zheng hoarsely muttered calming her down lest she orders them to trail behind him. Their master wanted them to protect her as he wasn’t going out.

"Ooohh..." If it was at the military academy camp, then there was nothing to be worried about. That place was safer than where she was headed to actually.

"What do you want to buy first so that we know which shopping mall to take you over to first!" Huo Qi who was holding his iPad and seated in the passenger seat curiously inquired as he went through his iPad seemingly doing something important as his fingers never stopped tapping on the screen.

"Take me over to the maximum prison centre, I have things to handle and clean up there, and need to check out some information, make arrangements..." With Huo Qi’s presence, then everything was possible. He just needed to make a few phone calls and her problems would be immediately solved!

"Okay, Missus but we have to pass through another office and pick up some contact lenses for you to use... They are safer and more protective than having tinted glasses on..." Huo Zheng had made requests and this morning they had notified him that they were ready, he needed to pick them up before she could step down from the Jeep.

It was easier for someone to snatch the glasses away compared to contact lenses... They won’t know if her eyes are purple to begin with if the contact lenses are of different colours.

"Okay we can do that..." since it was Huo Shen’s instructions then she would listen to them. That man must be doing it for her safety and nothing else.

They quietly rode the Jeep into the street that passed through a forest.

"Qing Qing, are you ready? Should we go?" Huo Shi’s voice echoed from the entrance door, it was loud and audible, she removed her shoes and walked into the mansion.

"Yes yes... I’m done..." Su Qing who heard her voice got up and rushed over to the sitting area while her mother trailed behind her in a hurry. The entire space was wall partitioned and you couldn’t see the other side apart from hearing their voices echoing.

"Good morning Shi Shi..."

"Good morning Huo Shi..."

Tang Fei and Su Qing hurriedly walked over to the sitting area leaving everything else the way it was at the dining table, they were almost done, but there was no way they could make Huo Shi wait for them. She was from the prestigious Huo family and Tang Fei felt honoured that her daughter was capable of making such kinds of friends.

"Good morning auntie..."

"Good morning Qing Qing..."

They merrily hugged each other in greetings... Huo Yan who had parked his car at the gate, walked into the mansion seeing them greeting each other. He removed his shoes before stepping into the mansion.

Huo Shi didn’t seem to be moody or cranky while greeting them, her attitude towards them was better than how she treated them! He even began suspecting that she might like one of Su Qing’s step brothers who had been abroad for several years and that was the reason they were getting so close to each other, but wait, his sister knew that he was planning to get engaged to Su Qing, what was the meaning of this?

His mind thought very far as he got closer but his keen eyes were pinned on his sister trying to study her emotions.

"Good morning Su Qing, Auntie..." He courteously greeted them as they shook their hands with a polite bow. His face had a little gentle smile but deep down he was getting worried that his plans might be disrupted by his cunning sister.

"We were having breakfast, come over, you can have some milk before going out..." Tang Fei was courteous and politely invited them over since it was morning hours and they could have a glass of water since they were guests.

"Sure Auntie, let’s go..." Huo Shi warmly accepted her invite and they went over to the dining table to settle down.

She instructed the maids who brought some food over and served them. Huo Yan couldn’t decline the moment his sister had accepted that invite. He would only join them half-heartedly.

He had thought she was in a hurry and couldn’t accept any invite but here she was settling down to have a meal as if their mother didn’t prepare anything! What kind of behaviour was this if it weren’t for flattering the Su family?

What did they do to deserve her attention if she wasn’t up to something? He knew, his sister wasn’t that holy and didn’t have an honest relationship with Su Qing. Everything about these two was just flattery and perfunctory acts. What was she planning? He was getting worried and the food tasted bland in his mouth.

"Shi Shi, you can have more .." Tang Fei was considerate and tender when talking to her and serving her. Huo Shi seemed to be enjoying these meals and actually didn’t decline it.

Su Qing was having her soy milk as it was the only thing that was remaining inside her glass.

"Huo Yan, have more eggs..." With her warm gesture, she peeled some egg shells and placed two boiled eggs inside his plate and he gladly ate them.
