Rebirth: Dancing In My Destiny -
Chapter 63: Forget
Chapter 63: Forget
But she couldn’t relax yet. Because she still needs a lot of money to inject funds into Flash for development.
She also needs a minimum of $25 million to buy Rapid Realty in Vale City. She had to buy this company to get a piece of land that contained gold. If she is successful, then the gold mine will become her cash cow in the future. If she is not wrong in her prediction, the government will sell the company cheaply two months from now. She still had time to raise money in the stock market until then.
Shortly after...
Suddenly Rose heard her mother’s voice calling her outside. She opened the door immediately.
"Someone is looking for you...." Molly was surprised when she saw her daughter still wearing her pajamas and her hair so messy. "Why are you idle? It’s almost lunchtime, but you still look like this? If my son-in-law sees you like now, he might run away...."
Rose speechless. She ignores her mother and asks her instead.
"Who’s looking for me, mom?" Rose was confused. It can’t be Evan, right? Because it’s been a few days since Evan returned to the capital. He was busy taking care of her apartment and office, which she would live in after moving there.
Actually, she wanted to find an office herself, but Evan offered to help her. Since she couldn’t leave her mother yet, she agreed to Evan’s offer. She entrusted Evan to find an office not far from her apartment at a price that suited her budget.
"Sam! Don’t you have an appointment with him? How could you forget? Oh, Lord... My daughter is still young like this, but she has forgotten...." Molly murmurs while leaving her daughter.
Rose slapped her forehead. She ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Today she was going out with Sam, they will visit her childhood friend, Oliver Hester.
How could she completely forget that she had to meet Oliver today? She really needs Oliver’s ability to help her grow her company. Oliver was a very precious person to her.
She disappoints Oliver too often in her past life, but Oliver always sticks with her. In this life, she will never make any mistakes again.
"Sam, sorry to keep you waiting. I completely forgot that we have to go to Riverside today...." Rose appeared in the living room. She was ready to go.
"Lady boss... it’s okay. We still have plenty of time." Sam immediately took Rose’s computer bag and went down to the parking lot to prepare the car.
Rose said goodbye to her mother and made sure the maid took care of all of her mother’s needs. She is a bit worried about going out because today was the first time she had left her mother after her mother returned from the hospital. She wanted to make sure her mother was safe.
"Dr. Rose! Hurry up and go... I will be fine." Molly pushed her daughter out of the house. This girl is more and more like a doctor. No. She surpassed the doctors and nurses who treated her.
"Alright... Alright... don’t push me, mom! You will harm your chest if you use your power...." Rose walks fast, afraid her mother will hurt herself. Molly could only take a deep sigh looking at her little girl out of the house.
When Rose arrived at the parking lot, she was stunned.
She saw Sam standing beside a new black Mercedes SUV. She thought Sam would be driving her mother’s old sedan. Or Evan’s white sedan they used to use. Since when did she have this luxury car?
"Lady boss..." Sam opened the back row door for her. But Rose just stood there watching the car. She could recognize this was the latest version of the SUV released by Mercedes. This car’s price really hurt the wallet.
"Sam, I never saw you use this car. Whose car is this?" Rose glanced at Sam.
"This is a new car that Boss Evan has prepared for you to use. This car will also be sent to the capital once you move there..." Sam was surprised to hear Lady Boss’s question. He thought she already knew about this car, and apparently, Boss had not told her.
Rose was speechless.
"We should move now, or we will be late in arriving at our destination...." He continued his words.
Rose immediately got into the vehicle. She could smell the factory scent as she sat in the back row. Curious to know about this car, she took her cell phone and sent a text to Evan.
Why is he wasting money just to buy a new car for her?
Not long after, her cell phone rang. Evan’s name appeared on the cellphone screen, making her smile happily.
"Evan, did you buy a car for me?" She wanted to ask that, but she restrained herself. Afraid she’s overthinking that the car is for her.
"Where are you now, Rose? Still at home?" Rose heard Evan’s voice sound cheerful over there. She could also hear that he was currently inside the room.
"I’m in the car with Sam. Today I’m going to meet someone in the River Side district... I already told you before, right?"
"Hmm... I remember. Call me again if you finish your meeting. And, Rose, I plan to return to East City tonight, and I will come to your house if I arrive early...."
"Really!?"
"Hmm... I miss you terribly, Rose! Not seeing each other for a few days makes me like a zombie here. Can you move here sooner? So that we are always together, not long-distance, like now?" His voice sounded miserable. Only a few days apart from her, he already felt miserable. It felt like he wanted to fly to East City to see her whenever he missed her.
"Hahaha, I never expected you to feel like this, Evan..." Rose could only laugh. It was funny hearing Evan’s words. She thought Evan was more robust during their first long-distance relationship, but apparently, she was wrong.
