Only Rose and Willard were sitting in the large dining room with a view of the blue sea.

Even though the view of the white sand beach looked stunning out there, Rose couldn’t enjoy it at all. Her mind was still busy thinking of ways to escape from this place.

She had two choices, the first was to fight with him, but it was useless because she was weak, she needed a weapon to fight him. And second, trying to find a way to give Evan and Sam her location.

"Take a seat, Rose..."

She flinched at his voice, and at the same time, her eyes fell on the food on the table. She was slightly taken aback; everything in front of her was her favorite food.

Rose really wanted to say something, but seeing Willard’s — don’t talk to me, eat — expression made her stop. She cursed him in her heart. But, when she meets his gaze, she feels chill. Nervously she turned her eyes to her food.

"If you’re afraid that there’s poison in your food, it’s better to throw that thought away. Just eat!! Or you won’t have the energy to run away from here...." Willard chuckled and continued to eat.

"...and forget whatever your escape plans are, Rose! This island is off the map and far from anywhere. That bastard Evan will never find you!" Willard said with a smile, then stuffed a piece of meat into his mouth.

Rose’s heart sank at his words.

If she couldn’t run away, she could at least fight back if this man tried to hurt her.

After she finished her tasteless dinner at the same time, Willard also finished. He wiped his mouth and looked at her while sipping his red wine.

Willard affectionately smiled when he saw her looking at him like she wanted to murder him with her glare.

"Why... Why did you bring me here? Do you have a grudge against Evan, and you’re holding me... as a hostage here!?"

Countless theories come to mind; why did this man kidnap her!? And the only reason that makes sense is Willard has a grudge against Evan. That’s why this man kidnaps her to get revenge on Evan.

Willard’s lips curved up slightly. He smiled at her words while his deep eyes stared at the girl before he said, "It’s not because of him. But you..."

"M-ME? Why? Why me!? Willard, I’ve never had a problem with you..." Rose was perplexed.

"Do you really want to know why!?" When he saw Rose nodding vigorously, he stood up from his chair. "Follow me!"

Willard slowly stood up from his chair and walked towards the stairs.

Rose was stunned when she saw Willard leave her like that. Was he not afraid that she would run out?

"This guy...he really doesn’t see me as a threat?" Rose muttered to herself.

Somehow, she felt irritated, realizing that she was weak. She could only rely on her gun. And in a situation like this, she couldn’t beat Willard — how could she escape and fight the burly man outside?

If only she still had her gun, maybe by now, she would have massacred all people on this island.

Too bad she doesn’t have a gun. And since her opponent used an automatic weapon, she couldn’t act rashly. If she did, it would mean suicide.

Soon they reached the third floor, and Rose was surprised when Willard led her to another room, which was at the end of the bedroom she had previously been in.

It is a study room. The Room is dominated by wood, and almost all sides are filled with neatly arranged bookshelves. In the middle of the Room is a set of brown leather sofas.

Rose immediately sat across from Willard, and her heartbeat raced fast. Her gaze was sharp like a well-made sword at the clean, good-looking, but vile, evil man.

"Willard, why..."

"Because I love you, Rose Wilson!" His sudden words could make her mind go blank. She froze, looking at him.

Sick!! This guy is crazy!! How could he love someone else’s wife and kidnap her?

"Willard, I am a married woman. And how can you kidnap me just because you love me!? Do you know how unlawful and evil that was..."

Willard didn’t bother answering her. He stood up from his chair and walked over to her.

Instantly, she shuddered with fear and disgust at the sight of Willard slowly walking towards her with his deep dark eyes meeting hers. She tightened her grip on the chair, feeling wary.
