Rose needed to talk to him to find out his motives. As she recalled, she didn’t have a problem with this man. Even a few days ago, they were still chatting friendly.

For a few seconds Willard just stared at her without saying anything. At this moment, even his well-defined face couldn’t hide how happy he was to finally have her within his reach.

He’s happy even though he still has a lot to do. He needs to make this girl forget her past and return to him. He will be patient, even if that means keeping her on this island forever.

He had never felt how strong his love for Rose was. But when Evan appeared and took her, he thought he couldn’t live without her. Unfortunately, he died after that bastard Evan put him in prison.

However, God gave him a second chance. He came back to life in Willard Harper’s body.

But unfortunately, despite being given a second chance, he was too late. This girl is married to that asshole Evan. He didn’t have much choice to get her back other than to do this, kidnap her.

"Babe, you should eat before we talk!" His voice sounded calm, but Rose felt like she was struck by lightning when she heard the word ’babe’.

Amidst her confusion, she heard Willard speak again, "Follow me! Sorry, I won’t talk to you if you don’t get your dinner!" He said, then walked out of the room, leaving her.

Rose clenched her fists and walked quickly to follow him. Only this time did she notice several rooms on that floor. They walked over the corridor toward the stairs.

There was no one on the floor, just her and Willard. He was leisurely walking in front of her.

Suddenly an idea flashed through her mind.

"This is my escape route! Beat him up, and take this man as a hostage..." she thought.

Without thinking further, she rushed at Willard and threw a powerful flying kick at his head, but before her feet touched his head, Willard darted forward and brushed her feet off.

Rose was taken aback. His sudden movement managed to make her trip and fall. Before her body hit the floor, a hand grabbed her hand and pulled her hard. She crashed into his sturdy chest — everything happened so fast. His movements were flawless.

She was shocked.

Just look at how fast his moves were to avoid her feet and pull her. She could tell Willard was someone who knew how to fight. He wasn’t an ordinary person who knew martial arts, but he was an expert.

Rose has come to a realization. It’s useless to fight him hand-to-hand! She must figure another way out.

Still in his arms, Rose shuddered. She quickly pushed Willard away, but his hands tightly gripped her waist and hands. Rose couldn’t move at all. Willard was so solid as a wall that she couldn’t move.

Several times she tried to escape from his grip, but it was useless to move. The more she fought, the tighter his grip was. Now, she can feel her hand hurt.

Helpless, she bumped her head against his chest, but then she could feel Willard’s arms encircling her waist and pressing her into his embrace. The embrace felt so tight that she could no longer move.

She didn’t know what to do. She could only stop moving as she tried to calm her anger.

Rose didn’t know how long she had been in his arms, but every second that passed was like a needle stabbing her heart. The longer it takes, the more it hurts.

She can’t stand it anymore...

If crying could make this man move to let her go, she would weep and beg him.

However, before Rose could say another word, she stopped because she could feel Willard’s breath brush against her ear. She clenched her fists painfully, feeling as if all the blood in her body was about to rush straight to her face.

"Rose... Please don’t rush to hug me. We have plenty of time. Now, you have to eat. You can touch me after you eat and shower, okay!?"

"Willard, why are you doing this to me, huh!? What did I do wrong to you to keep me here!?" Her eyes flickered with intense emotion.

"Did you forget what I said earlier, Rose? You have to eat before we talk!" Willard said as he let go of his hug. He took a step back so he could see her face clearly.

He chuckled as soon as he saw her flushed face, and her eyes flashed as if a fire had been lit in them. She looks furious. However, seeing this girl angry, made him even more pleased.

"Please don’t do things like before. It will hurt you. You should know I don’t want to hurt you, Rose!" His voice was gentle, but what he said sounded like thunder in her ears. It makes Rose realize that this man is a bastard who intends to hurt her.

She couldn’t say anything because she was so angry right now. She could only turn her head, not wanting to look at him, but then, she felt his hands grab her and pull her to walk.

Rose followed him with cumbersome and hesitant steps while her hand was tightly held. He led her toward the stairs.

It has been nearly 24 hours, and Rose has yet to eat or drink. She could feel her stamina slowly fading away, and she was starting to feel famished.

"I’ve been missing for almost 24 hours, can they find me? Why are they taking so long to find her?" Rose was talking to herself.

While on the mainland...

Evan arrived at the Silver Phoenix base. No words left his lips, but everyone who saw him felt his aura filled with killing intent.

He immediately went into his office, and there was another room within the room. And it is filled with super-sophisticated computers.

With one touch, all the computers in the room instantly turn on. Evan typed quickly on the keyboard; before long, an old man with a pale face appeared on his screen.

"Master! I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise to you. Today I will use my ability..." His voice sounded shaky, making the old man frowned at him.
