Rebirth: Dancing In My Destiny
Chapter 483: Very Talented

Chapter 483: Very Talented

"Teach me to be a hacker. Just like you taught Oliver..." Rose said calmly.

A look of surprise flashed across Oscar’s eyes, but in the end, he smiled wryly.

"Why are you asking me that? You better ask your husband." He wanted to say that but seeing her eyes beaming as she had just found a treasure chest left him speechless.

Oscar then turned his gaze to Sam for help freeing him from this awkward situation. But unfortunately, Sam’s condition does not seem promising. He is even worse — Sam coughed badly until his face turned red.

They both stared at each other for a few moments and didn’t utter a single word.

Oscar knew Sam must be in shock. Just like an hour ago, when he discovered Rose knew about his secret, he was in this state.

Sam brought his head closer to Oscar and whispered, "He knows you’re a hacker?"

"Yes! And now, she asked me to be her teacher. Can you believe that!? Man, please slap me on the head! I want to make sure this is not a dream..." Oscar said in a low tone, but Rose sitting opposite him could hear him clearly.

Rose rolled her eyes in amusement at the sight of these two dumb men. And, before Sam could slap Oscar, she said, "Oscar, you won’t teach me!? Don’t you think I’m not as smart as Oliver?"

Oscar swallowed hard.

"Fine! I’ll ask my husband to assign you as a teacher then. Maybe if he asks you nicely, you’ll be willing to teach me..." Rose continued with an amused grin crossed her lips.

Damn, this lady boss is really slick. It’s not easy to refuse her. And, it would be troublesome if Boss Evan discovered he had rejected his wife from becoming his disciple.

Suddenly Oscar’s expression brightened, and he laughed joyfully before saying in a pleased tone, "No, no, I’m not rejecting you. How can I do that? Just now, I was too shocked. I didn’t expect to get this blessing from God, to become Rose Spencer’s teacher..."

Rose narrowed her eyes at Oscar, "Don’t feel forced. If you don’t want to teach me, it’s fine..."

"Boss, I’m ready. I want to be your teacher..." Oscar quickly replied before his lady boss twisted his words. "When are you ready? We can start anytime..."

"My lord!! Oscar, is it true that you accepted me as your disciple?" Rose’s voice sounded happy.

"Absolutely!!" Oscar was relieved to see her happy face. He casually leaned against the back of the sofa while keeping a smile on his face.

"Oscar, teach me now! Please tell me what to do. I will follow your assignment..." Rose sat up straight, facing Oscar like she was having a meeting with her professor on her campus.

"Alright, I will tell you the basics..."

While Oscar and Rose were exchanging words, Sam fell silent, looking straight at his lady boss.

He was in deep thought. His lady boss is really something. Why does she want to learn everything? Are, shooting skills and martial arts not enough for her? Now, she wants to learn to be a hacker too.

Seeing how excited she is, suddenly, Sam worries about his future. He might lose his job if his lady boss becomes an expert in all fields.

He wasn’t taking care of her; instead, she was taking care of him.

Sam couldn’t imagine the girl he had guarded 7 months ago had turned into a different person. The weak woman whose even physical training had worn her out now has excellent physical strength and martial art skills. She also has shooting abilities, which have increased rapidly in the last few months. Her determination to learn is unquestionable.

Undoubtedly, Spencer’s blood flowing in her body showed that she had the talent to be a soldier. If she had met her family first, she might have become an exceptional soldier like Sean Spencer.

At first glance, Sam could see that his Lady Boss was the female version of Sean Spencer. They were both talented, and their observations of others were frightening.

"Lady Boss! Don’t change too fast. I might lose my job to look after you..." Sam muttered to himself while shaking his head.

"What are they talking about?" Ask Sean. He sat beside Sam as his eyes fell on Rose and Oscar. He frowned, looking at them — they looked serious until they didn’t notice he joined them.

Sam was surprised to see Sean. He smiled at him and then turned his gaze at Rose and Oscar. For a moment, he just stared at them.

He was amused at how determined his Lady Boss was, hearing Oscar.

"Lady Boss wants to learn from Oscar!?

"Learn what?" Sean looked at Sam, confused.

"Hacking. I guess! Well, they’ve been talking about something I can’t remember." Sam answered nonchalantly. He doubted Lady’s boss would remember even if she recorded everything Oscar said.

He knows basic hacking. He also learns from Oscar, but in the end, he stops learning. Because his brain cannot accommodate many things that he should learn.

"Hacking?" Sean was shocked. "Wait, Sam, did Rose know about Oscar’s identity? How could she know? Did Evan tell him or Oscar himself?"

"I’m not really sure. I also just found out Miss Rose knows Oscar’s identity. I think Oscar told her."

Sean was speechless. How could Oscar tell that secret to Rose!? It could put Rose and the organization at risk. Worried that someone will use Rose to get this classified information.

Rose was immersed in doing something on her phone. Her eyes were focused, and her hands were moving quickly.

After a while...

"Oscar, I’m done!" Rose then showed her cell phone to Oscar. Her eyes lit up, waiting for Oscar’s reaction.

"WHAT!? You, you finished it already?" Oscar looked at Rose in horror.

This girl is a monster!

How could she finish the game he created for coding practice this fast!?

Even though he hasn’t taught her yet. He was giving her an example of how to use it. But she finished it 10 minutes later. Even Oliver had to spend 2 hours to finish the game.

"This is easy, Oscar! Can you give me a more challenging task!?" She said excitedly, can’t wait to learn something more challenging.

Oscar swallowed hard.

It’s a basic coding game. But how could she master this beginner level so fast?

By now, Oscar had grown suspicious that Evan had been tutoring her. That’s why she quickly finished the game. There was no way she could do this fast unless she was gifted.

"I do have a challenging game for you to play. But you still have to master the game I gave you earlier. Once you are done, I will send you another game to practice. Take it, easy boss, don’t rush. You need time to learn this."

Oscar said it casually as if her accomplishment of clearing the beginner level was easy. He didn’t want to make her take what she learned lightly.

"Didn’t I already finish it?" She frowned.

"Yes, that’s right, you’ve done it! But did you know there are three levels in that game?"

"Really!?" Rose immediately looked at the application on her cell phone and was stunned by what she saw.

"There are beginner, medium, and expert levels. You just finished beginner level. It would help if you tried to complete the Medium and Expert levels too. I challenge you to finish in 3 minutes each level. If you succeed, I’ll send you another coding game for you to learn."

Oscar believed his lady boss wouldn’t bother him until tomorrow because the Expert level was too difficult. And the 3-minute challenge will keep her busy, maybe until next week.

"Geez!! No wonder I finished it quickly." Rose laughed as she tried to play it again. This time she tried it at a medium level.

Rose was so immersed in the game that she didn’t notice her surroundings.

And, not long after...

Someone takes her cell phone. She was shocked.

"Let’s go home. It’s getting late." Evan stood in front of her. Only then did she realize that the party was over. There were only a few people in that place.

She was shocked.

How could she not notice her surroundings and only pay attention to her cell phone?

Gosh! The coding Game is totally addictive. She felt challenged to finish it. But, it seemed she had to stop now. And play later if she has time.

After looking around, Rose started to remember something.

"Where’s Brother Sean?" She looked around to find him, but Sean was nowhere to be seen.

"Sean? He left. Why?"

"I need to tell him something."

Evan was confused hearing her words, "Wife, Sean been sitting here with you all this time. Didn’t you talk to him?"

Earlier, Evan was curious to see her sitting on the couch staring at her cell phone. He thought she was watching something on YouTube or reading the news, but she was playing a game. What kind of game makes her ignore her surroundings?
