Later, Rose saw Evan chatting with several men she had never seen before. From how they look, most of them are foreigners. She was suspicious of the identity of these people. They looked like the man she had met in Italy, Lucas Allen.

Before Rose wanted to ask Oscar about those people, Rose stopped when she saw Lucas Allen appear from downstairs.

Of course! All of them are Evan’s subordinates. That’s why he invited them to this private party.

For a moment, Rose tried to find an answer out of curiosity, but then, she doubted it. Because she could see Marvin Sanders wasn’t talking to them. Instead, he was busy talking to Sam and Gavin in another corner.

Also, her brother, Sean, seemed to know all the foreigners Evan sat with. How could it be?

Rose knows active military members cannot leave the country unless they are on duty. However, why did Sean seem to know them all? It was clear that they had known each other for a long time.

"Oscar, do you know those people?" Rose glanced at Evan and then looked at Oscar.

"Which one!?"

"The people my husband talked to."

Oscar didn’t answer right away. He tried to think not to give out too much information. He knew this woman had a talent for observing others — She could expose something in one glance.

"Oh, they work for Boss Evan in several countries. They happen to be around the country, so they were asked to come to this celebration party."

Rose didn’t say a word. She just stared at Evan in silence. And at the same time, Evan looked at her. He smiled and asked her to join him.

She immediately joins Evan and meets all of his friends.

Yes, Evan introduced them all as his close friends. It’s kinda weird. Because before, Oscar had told her they were all working for Evan. And their job is to take care of Evan’s business in other countries.

Someone is hiding something! But who? Who is telling the truth!?

Rose could only secretly smile as she greeted them all.

Now, she was increasingly convinced by her suspicions; Evan was involved in some organization. Obviously, all people at this table weren’t businessmen. They looked more like mafia leaders or something powerful than mere business people.

After a brief greeting, Rose sat down next to Evan. She didn’t say a word, just listening to their casual conversation about sports and cars. She felt bored hearing it.

She looked around to find someone she wanted to talk to. And at the same time, she saw the female singer stop singing.

Rose’s gaze follows as the singer walks to the sofa not far from where she sat.

"Interesting!" Rose quietly muttered when she saw the singer sitting beside Marvin Sanders. They spoke as if they had known each other for too long. And at the same time, Gavin and Sam left Marvin as if to make room for them.

"Is that singer Marvin’s girlfriend?" She quietly said to herself, but Evan, who now leaned near her, could hear it.

"Yes, she is Marvin’s girlfriend."

Rose was surprised to hear Evan’s voice near her ear. She immediately looked back and widened in surprise when her face met Evan’s long nose. They almost kiss. She quickly moved her head away before this man kissed her in front of these people.

Evan was amused looking at how red his wife’s face was. He continued his words, "She is a famous singer. Don’t you know her?" He grabbed her hand and placed it on his lap.

"I don’t really know celebrities. But, is the singer really famous?" She tried to look at her again, but the singer sat with her back facing her. She could only see her black hair.

"She is Kimberly West. She is quite famous, just like Noah Stone." Evan answered casually.

"Kimberly West!? I guess I’ve heard that name before. However, I don’t really remember her face...." She chuckled. No wonder her voice is so powerful and sounds so beautiful.

"So many celebrities out there, my brain leaves little room for celebrity news...." She continues. In her two lives, she did not pay attention to celebrities. She only knows a few celebrities, one of which is Noah Stone. And more recently, Carla Miller and Willard Harper.

"Hahaha, no problem. You don’t need to know about people like that. It’s useless."

Rose smiled and stole another glance to look at Marvin and Kimberly. Before she asks, "Does she come to your events often?" Her voice was low, but the intonation was sharp.

She felt slightly jealous because after dating Evan, it was only now that she could hang out with almost all of his friends.

"No. It’s the first time Kimberly has come here and sung." Evan felt his little wife was jealous. "Well, this was Aidan’s idea. He thought the party would be much merrier if there were singers. So, I couldn’t refuse. After all, that woman is Marvin’s girlfriend."

"Oo... I see." Rose smiled and leaned her head to Evan’s shoulder. "I’m impressed with Marvin. He can maintain a relationship with a famous singer without the media finding out...."
