Rebirth: Dancing In My Destiny -
Chapter 463: Too Late
Chapter 463: Too Late
While in the car.
Rose took a deep breath hoping Oliver and Keira didn’t run into Aunt Emily and her mother-in-law. Oliver’s plans could go awry if that happened.
"What’s wrong, Rose?" Sitting next to Sam, who was driving, Randy was stunned when he saw Rose’s worried expression. "Are you still worried about the news out there!?"
"Lady Boss, do you need me to investigate the accident?" asked Sam seriously. If his lady boss was still worried about the news about Carla Miller, he wouldn’t mind finding her some information. He can call Oscar to do that.
"Rose..." Randy suddenly spoke solemnly. "Don’t force yourself to think about the news out there. The accident had nothing to do with you."
"Yes, boss, I agree with what Randy said. You don’t have to be sad about the news." Sam added. He could see the sad look on Rose’s face, and it made him worry.
Rose, who heard Randy and Sam’s words, almost laughed. Slowly she turned her gaze towards Sam and Randy sitting in the front.
How could they think she was thinking about Carla Miller? No. Of course not. But now, she’s worried about Keira and Oliver.
"Guys, I wasn’t thinking about the news. But I think Oliver is in trouble!" Rose softly said.
Randy and Sam were shocked.
"Oliver in trouble?" Randy shouted in surprise. "WHAT!? What happened to him!?"
Rose didn’t bother explaining to him. She just closed her eyes, pretending to sleep. She needs to calm her mind.
Today was her first day back at work, but a lot had happened; Gossip news. Oliver’s problem. And, of course, her research on the stock market is still not finished. It’s going to be a long day today. She has so much to do.

February 12th.
Several days have passed. However, the news of Carla Miller’s unfortunate accident is still trending on social media and gossip news.
In fact, the news began to lead to a murder case — Carla Miller’s accident is related to rumors about her dark past.
Suddenly, there were loads of impromptu detectives on social media linking one story to another. And every day, the news is getting hotter.
Rose Spencer no longer follows the gossip news about entertainment. She mostly read business news and kept herself busy with office matters.
Her focus is more on the stock market. She is very excited about earning from the stock market momentum, which will increase due to global issues in the next few days.
However, even though she tried not to read the entertainment news gossip, the news about Carla Miller again reached her ears. It was her mother calling her.
"Daughter, what’s with the news out there? Why is Evan’s name associated with Carla Miller’s death?" Molly asked in a displeased tone.
Rose stopped all her work and leaned her back against the back of the chair. She closed her eyes, listening to her mother’s chatter.
Rose also didn’t know why A-Netz was still talking about Evan and Carla Miller. Even though the Agency of Carla Miller — now on the verge of bankruptcy — has issued a statement, there was no romantic relationship between Evan Collins and Carla Miller.
Even so, A-Netz is still not satisfied. In fact, they seemed to blame Evan.
"And did you know that your picture is now spread on the internet? People are trying to find out who that person your husband met in the lobby of the Collins Hotel a few days ago..."
Rose, who heard that, was stunned. She opened her eyes.
"What? My picture?"
"Yes! You can check the news on the internet. I feel that these netizens need to be taught a lesson." Molly sounded irritated.
"How can they say you’re having an affair with Evan? And how can they blame you for stealing Carla Miller’s boyfriend? What’s going on out there, Rose? Tell me, is this true?" Molly continued. She was really annoyed that someone called her daughter a slut!
Rose could feel how angry her mother was with A-Netz. She also feels that way.
She couldn’t stay silent now. She needs to take firm action against A-Netz.
"Mom, please calm down. Let me handle this..."
She browsed the news and was surprised to see ten trending news about her and Evan on the internet. What the hell! How can they slander me like this?
"Yes, you should!" Molly said curtly.
"Hmm... I will. But, mom, you should stop reading news like this. And don’t tell dad... He’ll be mad if he finds out." Rose said. She knew her father was very protective of her. She didn’t want her father to be mad at Evan.
"Too late. Your dad already knows. He was the first to know and asked me to call you." Molly took a deep sigh. If only Nicholas hadn’t called her, she would never know her daughter was being bullied online.
Suddenly, Rose’s heart sank. She could only curse A-Netz in her heart. After talking for a while, Rose ended the call and immediately called Evan.
"Why is the news still spreading!? Does he know about the wild stories out there?" Rose muttered while trying to call Evan. But this is weird. She called him, but his phone was off.
"Is he in an important meeting?"
She tries to call Gavin, but Gavin is also unreachable.
After some thought, Rose called Sam. Soon, Sam entered Rose’s office. "Boss, what’s wrong?"
"Sam, have you read the gossip news on the internet?"
"What news?" Sam raised his eyebrows in confusion.
What the hell!? Why doesn’t anyone read the news?
Rose felt strange.
Was it because they were so sick of reading Carla’s gossip that it kept them from ever reading any more gossip sites?
"Sam, go check for new gossip first. And please try to contact my husband. It’s urgent." Rose said while dialing another number.
"Boss Evan is currently flying to the East city."
Rose was surprised to hear that.
Why did Evan travel out of town without telling her?
Instantly Rose felt annoyed.
