Evan pulled her into his arms. They sat side by side on the edge of the bed.

"Thank you, wife, for believing in me," he whispered.

"Hmm..." Rose smiled, then he pushed Evan’s body away to make some distance so she could see his face more clearly. "Hubby, although your face isn’t clear in the photo. But, many A-Netz has guessed it is you. What would you do?"

Rose was worried that the gossip would spread and drag Evan’s name down. What if her family finds out? They would definitely criticize her husband.

Evan buried her face in his palms and kissed her cherry lips. The sudden kiss seemed to have vented Evan’s inner feelings.

Rose’s breathing quickened, but she had no intention of resisting.

After the kiss, her pretty face blushed as if she had just fallen in love for the first time. The kiss was sweet and made her unable to meet his burning eyes. She lowered her head.

But Evan didn’t give her a chance to stay away. He pulled her closer. With warm eyes, he cast a lingering gaze over her face before giving her a light kiss right on the lips. She pushed him again.

"H-Hubby, can you answer my question first? What are you going to do about the gossip?" Rose was still worried that the gossip would bring Evan down.

"Don’t worry, someone will take care of it. There’s no need to worry about it. Now, you better sleep, or else you will fall asleep on New Year’s Eve..." He helped her to lie on the bed.

Instantly Rose felt her eyes heavy. She closed her eyes as soon as her head touched the pillow. It didn’t take long for Rose to fall asleep.
