Rose didn’t notice the change in Evan’s face.

"Looks like I’ll have to ask Keira to find a girl for Danny and the others. There should be a lot of pretty girls on her campus, right?" Rose was delighted at her brilliant idea. She stood up and looked around to find Keira.

After a while, she found her...

"Keira!? What are you looking for?" Rose was standing behind Keira, looking towards the exit door, "Let’s go to my room...."

Rose was tired, and Evan asked her to rest in their room while he entertained other guests.

"Sis, it’s about Noah’s brother. He just left..." Keira said as she walked with Rose to the main house.

Instantly Rose stopped her steps, looking at Keira. And she asked, "Did Brother Noah go home? Why didn’t he say goodbye to me?" Rose was surprised that Noah had gone home without saying goodbye to her.

Why?

"Well, he left a message for you—Noah said he had something important he couldn’t put off. So he should go there after he’s done singing here..."

Although Rose felt strange about Noah’s sudden departure, she didn’t say anything else. She would call him tomorrow to ask him directly.

"Sis, you look tired. The party is over. You should rest...." Keira was worried seeing Rose’s pale face and usually bright eyes, now slightly dim. "Are you sleepy?"

"Yeah... I’m a little tired because Danny and the others forced me to dance..." Rose lay on the soft bed while Keira sat on the side, watching her worriedly.

Rose suddenly remembered her promise to Danny and the others to arrange a blind date for them.

"Kei, do you have a lot of female friends in college? I need your help to introduce Randy and the others... They’ve been single for too long and complained to me all night; they asked me to arrange a blind date for them. But, you know, I don’t have any female friends. So, now... you’re the only one I can turn to for help."

Keira laughed at her sister Rose’s concern.

"Sis, yes, I have some friends... But I’m not sure if Randy and the others will like them. All my friends are like me. We adore our idol, Noah Stone, and movie stars like Willard Harper...."

Willard Harper? Instantly Rose felt her body stiffen hearing the name.

"Kei, it’s okay. Please arrange a meeting..." Rose had no other choice because she had already promised them.

"Fine... I’ll arrange it." Keira laughed. Then she remembered Rose’s plan to become cupid for her and Oliver. "Sis, what about me? When are you going to help me with my crush?" her cheeks blushed after she asked Rose.

Rose chuckled, seeing Keira. This girl always blushes whenever she talks about Oliver. She was too noticeable—if she couldn’t contain her feelings, everyone would know that she liked Oliver.

After thinking for a while, Rose finally decided to be honest with Keira.

"Kei, actually Oliver..." Rose told Keira about Oliver’s condition, who was hospitalized due to an accident he had a few days ago.

"What!! Sister... Why, why didn’t you tell me earlier? Please tell me the details. I... I want to meet him...." Keira’s face was pale when she found out Oliver was in the hospital.

Rose could only laugh softly when she saw Keira running out of the room, leaving her alone.

"Gosh! Doesn’t she know this is almost midnight? Oliver must be asleep..." Rose muttered. Moments later, she feels sleepy and tries to close her eyes. But before she could sleep, she heard footsteps outside the room, followed by her mother’s voice talking to her mother-in-law.

Rose immediately got up and looked at the door.

Soon her mother, Doris, and Emily entered the room. They brought some dessert and put it on the coffee table.

"Rose, this is your favorite dessert ...." Molly said.

Rose soon joined her mother. Seeing the cheesecake, she immediately became hungry.

"Thank you, mom..." Rose said while enjoying her cake and sipping her cold drink, ignoring those who started chatting. But before she could finish her drink, she almost choked when she heard her mother-in-law ask,

"Rose, when are you going to give us grandchildren?"

For a moment, Rose froze. She could only stare at Doris across from her.

She was at a loss for words whenever this kind of conversation arose. She felt like disappearing from the room.

"Doris, Rose is still young. She and Evan still want to have fun...." Emily said wisely.

Before Rose could say anything, she noticed that her mother took a deep breath and said, "They have decided to postpone having children...." Another sigh followed after she said that.

"Yes, my son is very stubborn..." Doris glanced at Molly. "Sister Molly, I hope they change their minds and give us grandchildren soon."

Just before Rose wanted to answer, Evan entered the room.

"Mother, please stop asking my wife about that..." Evan’s voice was low, but his tone was firm.

Slowly Evan entered the room and sat down next to Rose. After that, Evan looked at Molly and the others before saying,

"Can you all leave us? We should sleep now..."

Everyone was surprised at Evan’s words, but they tried to hide it by only laughing.

"Son, are you going to bed at this time? It’s still too early..." said Doris.

"Yeah, it’s still too early. We still want to talk to Rose," Emily said.

"Mom, don’t you want to have grandchildren soon? How can we have children if you are still here?" Evan looked at his mother without batting his eyelid.

Rose, "...."

Doris and the others immediately stood from their seats and said goodbye to Rose. They immediately disappeared from the room.

"You! Why do you talk like that to your mother?" Rose couldn’t believe her husband had the temper to scold his mother. Gosh!

"What’s wrong? I’m telling the truth. We should work hard to make a baby, right!? Wife, let’s take a shower first, " he said calmly, leading his wife to the bathroom.

Rose was utterly speechless.
