Wallace Hester sat alone in an empty office. He awaited the arrival of CEO Marvin Sanders. But it’s been almost an hour, and the man didn’t show up. He felt angry, but he couldn’t do anything.

He just held it and waited.

Before coming to the capital, Old Hester had buried himself in his house at Nova city for the past few days. He was in big trouble. Almost all his companies faced a massive problem as business partners such as Dream Inc, Spencer Group, and Collins Group abruptly cut off their partnership. Negative rumors about the company surfaced on the internet.

He was aware that someone was attacking him and his company, but after trying various attempts to find out who was behind all of this, he couldn’t find the answer either. Even after he used his powerful resources, he couldn’t find anything.

But yesterday he realized that Dream Inc is one of the companies that cut off all cooperation with his company. Followed by Collins and Spencer Group, the business giants in the country.

How could he calm down if these three business giants attacked him?

He felt strange. Because he never had a dispute with the three companies. But why did they attack him?

Why did they break off a partnership that had existed for years when there were no problems with the projects they were working on!?

Since yesterday, he wanted to meet with Marvin Sanders, but the man didn’t give him any time.

Until this morning, they finally gave him time to meet at Dream Inc’s headquarters. He rushed to the capital only to meet Marvin Sanders, who was much younger than him.

He felt humiliated—if this man wasn’t the CEO of Dream Inc, he wouldn’t have done this.

Wallace Hester couldn’t avoid doing this because his company’s affairs were getting more complicated. He wants to ask Marvin Sander for help so that the Hester Group can be helped from bankruptcy.

This was the first time Wallace Hester had waited for someone this long. He had been sitting in the CEO’s room for over an hour, but Marvin Sanders had yet to show up. Now he was starting to worry that this meeting would be canceled.

Dream inc is his only hope after the other two business giants—Spencer and Collins Group—completely ignore him.

"Mr. Wallace Hester, sorry to keep you waiting." Marvin Sanders smiled as he offered a handshake. Then he sat opposite Wallace with his calm expression.

Wallace Hester’s annoyance disappeared as soon as Marvin Sanders appeared. This was the third time he had met this successful young man. His leadership aura is powerful despite his young age. Wallace was confident that this man was the same age as his grandson, Archy Hester. However, their personalities and achievements were incomparable, like the earth and sky.

His spoiled grandson couldn’t even lead a small branch office. Who else could be the leader of Hester Group? Maybe just a month after sitting in the CEO’s chair, the company went bankrupt instantly. Luckily Earl Hester, his only son, had that talent. But sadly, his son hates him badly, and now he’s having difficulty controlling him—he is getting smarter.

"Mr. Marvin Sanders, nice to meet you. Thank you for taking the time to meet this old man."

"Haha, Mr. Hester, you are too kind. I should be the one apologizing for making you wait. I’ve been busy in Vale City lately..." Marvin smiled politely, but he was cursing this old man in his heart. He knew who this man was and knew how ruthlessly he ran his business.

"Hahaha, anyway, thanks..."

"Mr. Hester, what made you come to see me?" Marvin asked casually as if not knowing the news that still dominates the news in this country.

The broad smile that framed Wallace Hester’s face slowly faded as he remembered that his company was on the verge of bankruptcy.

"It’s about our cooperation. I want to know why Dream Inc terminated all co-operated contracts with our company. Mr. Sanders, please tell this old man. If we have a problem, I promise you I will fix it. And if my company makes a mistake, then as the founder of the Hester Group, I will apologize to you, personally...."

Marvin didn’t want to spend too much time meeting this old man. "Mr. Hester, you can ask your team for that because all the reasons have been clearly explained on the paper we send to your office..."

Old Hester’s mouth twitched at Marvin Sander’s words. All the excuses they gave made no sense. Therefore, he insisted on asking for a time to meet and ask in person.

Just as Wallace was about to say something, he heard Marvin continue his words. "And, Mr. Hester, you should ask your grandson; what he was doing a few days ago in Vale City!?"

Old Hester’s heart sank.

Archie Hester? So the problem is Archy? What did the stupid brat do?

"Mr. Sanders, if my grandson Archy offended Dream Inc. I apologize. But, please don’t pressure us like this..."

Now Wallace couldn’t ask his grandson. He could only apologize and plead with this young man.

If this young man asked him to kneel, he would—and once he returned to Nova City, he would punish his foolish grandson.

Marvin chuckled, "Mr. Hester, our decision is firm..." After saying that, Marvin stood up and motioned for Wallace Hester to leave his office. "Sorry, I have another meeting outside."
