Chapter 348: Meet Again

Several days passed. It is now the second week of September.

In the last few days, a lot had happened to Rose and Evan, whether it was office matters or bombing issues.

But of all the things that happened to them, Rose was most relieved; the second bomb in one of the hotels on Ice Island did not explode.

The authorities managed to defuse the bomb. They also success arrest the terrorists. All of these incidents did not appear in the news reports. The government, including the police and military, had strictly kept the secrecy of terrorist attacks to maintain the country’s stability. And also a sign that terrorist acts failed because their purpose in carrying out these actions is to get attention and create chaos.

But unfortunately, the authorities have not been able to find NONE leaders. And all the captured terrorists kept their mouths shut. As if they had lost the ability to speak—ready to die guarding their organization’s secrets.

As someone who knew about the future, Rose couldn’t provide any additional information about the terrorist except when and where the incident would happen. This is because she didn’t know anything beyond it.

Even though the authorities managed to thwart the terrorist attack and apprehend the perpetrators, Rose remains worried.

What will happen to the subsequent explosion?

Will terrorists still continue their plan with their other members?

Will the explosion explode in the same place?

Rose would never know the answer again because the old past has been changed. Instantly her whole body felt cold because she didn’t know what would happen in the new future once the old history had changed.

"Are you all right, Lady Boss?" Sam was driving the car, surprised to see Rose in the rearview mirror looking pale. Her eyes trembled like someone faced fear.

She’s in a daze!? Or did she not hear me? Thought Sam.

"Boss, are you feeling unwell? Do you want us to go back home?" Sam’s voice was starting to sound worried.

Rose, who heard Sam’s question, was surprised. Sick? She feels fine. Out of curiosity, she immediately looked at her face in the mirror, and to her surprise—what Sam said was true—her face was deathly pale.

Oh, God! The thought of terrorists alone had stressed her out, and without her realizing it, her face turned pale. "Maybe because I’m hungry..." Rose replied casually.

"Lady Boss, don’t worry. We’ll be there soon..." said Sam. He refocused on driving and increased the speed to quickly arrive at their destination.

Today Rose and Oliver will have lunch with Noah Stone at the Empire Club. In addition, Rose also invited Keira Spencer, her cousin. To fulfill her promise to Keira—introduced Noah to her.

Soon they arrived at the club and headed straight for the VIP room, which Noah had reserved. Upon entering the room, Rose couldn’t hide her excitement, she smiled widely to see Noah, but when her eyes caught sight of the other people in the room, Rose’s smile slowly faded.

"Little sister, come sit here..." Noah Stone stood up and asked Rose to sit beside him. An awkward smile graced Rose as she walked over to Noah and sat beside him.

Rose couldn’t avoid it. She couldn’t help but smile weakly when her eyes met Willard Harper sitting across from Noah.

"Hi, Rose, nice to meet you again..." Willard Harper smiles lovingly at Rose, and Rose responds with a slight nod.

"Hi, Willard..." She didn’t know what to say. Still surprised to see him in this room. Noah never told her Willard Harper would be joining them.

Seeing Rose looking awkward, Noah tilted his head at her. "Rose, I bumped into Willard, and he shamelessly insisted on joining us after he found out I was going to have lunch with you. Sorry, sis... I hope you don’t mind." Noah Stone whispered.

"It’s okay, brother. I hope you don’t mind because I invited my cousin too." Then with a soft smile, Rose continued," By the way, she’s your avid fan, so please be nice to her..."

Rose reassured Noah everything was fine. Even though she was uncomfortable being in the same room with Willard Harper. Not after she realized Willard liked her.

At first Rose didn’t believe it, but after a few times she received texts from him and today’s meeting him again, she started to believe it—this megastar like her.

Rose didn’t know whether to be flattered that Willard Harper liked her!? She found it strange. After all, she is a married woman. What does this man see in her?

"Really!? Which cousin? Man? Girl?" Noah is excited to know Rose’s relatives like him.

Before Rose could answer, there was a knock on the door. Sam, who was sitting near the door, immediately stood up.

"Keira..." shouted Rose, calling for Keira, who was still standing by the door—blankly staring at Noah Stone.

"Silly little girl, hurry in, don’t make your idol wait for you..." Rose couldn’t help but laugh at how shocked Keira was now. She pulled Keira and sat beside her.

Now, Rose was sitting between Keira and Noah. In front of them sat in a row, Willard, Oliver—who arrived at the same time as Keira—and Sam.

"Sis, thank you for inviting me. Wow, my idol is so handsome." Keira whispered to Rose. It was the first time she had sat this close and dined with Noah Stone. It felt like she was dreaming. Not real.

"You’ve never seen Noah in person?" Rose was confused by Keira’s reaction as if it was their first time meeting.

Considering Noah is a talent from S99 Entertainment, part of the Spencer Group, Keira should be able to meet him, right? She just had to ask Aunt Amanda to be invited to the event Noah was attending!?

"I’ve seen him at concerts but never this close. This was the first time I sat with him at the same table. It feels like a dream, sis!" Keira’s face flushed as she tried to steal glances at Noah, who was now talking to a man in front of him. Keira turned her gaze to the man opposite Noah; suddenly, her eyes widened in shock.

"Oh my God!! Another superstar in this room!" Keira muttered in surprise.
