Rose’s eyes stared blankly at her phone screen. Confused. How should she answer the message?

Should she accept the invitation or ignore it!?

Rose was puzzled.

If she ignored him, she was sure the guy wouldn’t stop contacting her. And he might call her or even come over to her company. Rose knew very well the type of guy Willard Harper was. He’s the type of guy who doesn’t give up easily.

When Rose thought of that, her body immediately froze. Why was Willard’s persistence uneasy to her and similar to someone she wanted to forget?

As someone pressed against her chest, she felt short of breath.

Gosh! Why does that man’s face seem to haunt me again?

She quickly shook her head, trying to clear that bastard from her mind.

"My wife... What’s wrong? Why do you look shocked?" Evan, who saw his wife, was surprised to see his mobile phone. "Did something happen?"

As if pulled from a puddle of her thoughts, Rose came to her senses, quickly seeing Evan beside her.

"Nothing... I was just thinking about something." Rose replied calmly.

"About what? Maybe I can help you..." Evan could feel that something suddenly changed her mood.

Not wanting to worry Evan, Rose deliberately didn’t tell him about Willard Harper.

"It’s about work." Rose smiled when she thought Willard Harper would be a brand ambassador for her future fashion line business. This fashion business is still a plan, but she has decided to appoint Keira as one of the designers.

Evan chuckled before saying, "My dear... your husband is a competent and brilliant businessman. If you need anything to discuss, I hope you won’t hold anything back from talking to me...."

"Yes. I will remember it in my heart..." Rose smiled at Evan.

After a brief talk with Evan, Rose finally decided how to reply to Willard Harper’s messages.

While Rose was busy answering Willard’s text messages, Evan focused on driving the vehicle.

Meanwhile, in a penthouse in the capital city of Astington,

Willard Harper, anxiously waiting for an answer from Rose. He paced back and forth in his bedroom. Occasionally he glanced at his cellphone on the sofa.

He couldn’t hold his phone because the urge to call the girl was so strong when he did. He didn’t want Rose to think of him as someone with his own secret agenda, making the girl avoid him. He knew Rose’s nature. The girl cannot be forced. She will only do what she thinks is good for her.

After a while, Willard stopped walking and stood by the glass wall, looking at the blue sky outside. Somehow just looking at the clear sky could distract him from calling her.

After yesterday Rose didn’t answer his text messages, today, Willard decided to ask again. Hoping that the girl would be kind enough to reply to his message and accept his invitation.

Lunch with Rose Wilson was her number one priority.

Even though he knew that the girl was married, he would try to chase after her. He will try to win her heart. He knew her weakness so well that he would use it to chase after her.

Before long, Willard heard a knock on the door. He looked towards the door with an annoyed look.

"Enter...."

"Will, are you ready? We have to go. You could be late..." Willard Harper’s manager worried about seeing his talent not leaving the room. Meanwhile, they had to hurry to the set. If they didn’t go now, he would most likely be late.

"Lee! You can go to warm up the car first. I’ll follow you soon ..." Willard Harper said, ignoring his manager’s gaze as he continued staring at the scenery outside. His mind filled with Rose Wilson again.

"Fine! But please hurry... or we’ll be late," said Lee and quickly left Willard.

The room became silent once again. But moments later, the sound of his phone vibrating made him jump. He immediately walked over to the sofa and took out his cell phone.

Willard Harper’s heartbeat raced as he read Rose’s incoming message. The anxiety he felt was now fading. There was only a feeling of joy that enveloped his heart.

[Rose] I’m sorry, Willard. I just had time to reply to your message. I agree with your invitation.

[Rose] But right now, I’m still out of town. I will let you know when I return to the capital.

[WH] Hi Rose. Glad that you replied. Where are you now?

[Rose] East City.

Willard Harper was surprised to read his reply. Instantly countless worry questions fill his mind,

Was she in the East City?

Why did the girl suddenly return there?

Did something happen to her mother?

[WH] Everything is okay in your parent’s house?

[Rose] How do you know my parent’s house is in this city?

"Shit!! How could you expose yourself, stupid!!" He cursed himself for asking such a question. He quickly replied to the message.

[WH] Bro Noah, he was the one who told me. (Smile Icon)

[WH] Alright! Let me know as soon as you return to the capital. Later I’ll arrange where we can have lunch.

He read Rose’s message over and over. Just wanted to make sure he wasn’t dreaming right now. This is real. The girl replied to his message and agreed to have lunch with him.

A wide smile graced his happy face. There was nothing more he wanted now. He was delighted. Really Happy.

It felt like he wanted to celebrate this day. He would close this day by drinking with Noah Stone.

Noah Stone will be surprised because he managed to get Rose to accept his invitation. Noah was sure that Rose would not accept his invitation at their last meeting. And sadly, Noah was wrong!

He chuckled as he walked out of his room.

"Babe, in this life... I won’t let you go, and you’ll be mine!!" He whispered as he walked to the entrance. He suddenly felt in a good mood to go to work.
