Evan turned to look at Sam with narrow eyes. He was silent for a while, thinking about something, before finally asking, "Sam, with everything you have taught her, do you think my wife has a chance to win?"

He needs to confirm his doubts. He had never seen his wife shoot. But according to Sam, his wife is talented. Old Spencer also confirmed. That’s why the old man intended to recruit his wife to be trained as a sniper.

"Boss, do you want an honest or pleasing answer?" Sam answered, who was greeted with an annoyed look from Evan. Sam quickly replied, "Okay, okay. Boss, I think Lady Boss doesn’t have a chance. Meanwhile, in a large office, on the top floor. Old Spencer looked impatient for his granddaughter to come.

As soon as he heard a knock on the door, he sat up straight, staring at the door, so happy that his granddaughter had finally arrived. But when he saw a male staff member enter, disappointment was evident on his face.

Why hasn’t she come yet?

According to the information, he heard that his granddaughter was on her way here a few minutes ago.

After a brief greeting, the staff member immediately informed Old Spencer of the information that Chief Jimmy had given him.

Old Spencer was surprised to hear that his granddaughter had arrived long ago. But she went straight to the shooting range.

"So you mean they’re already at the shooting range?" Old Spenser asked, rising from his chair. He couldn’t wait to see his granddaughter compete. "Let’s go! I can’t wait to see my granddaughter defeat the challenger." He firmly believed that Rose could defeat anyone who fought her. Her talent was far above the average shooter he had seen training at this place.

Just as Old Spencer was about to head to the regular shooting range, the staff stopped him.

Old Spencer turned to look at the staff behind him and was surprised to see his face looked pale.

"What’s wrong? Why did you stop me?" he asked worriedly.

"Old Master, they will be competing in the 6th underground..." The staff stopped his words when he saw Old Spencer’s surprised expression.

"WHAT!" Worry overtook Old Spencer. "Has my granddaughter ever trained there before?"

He knew that his Granddaughter and Sam used to come to train here, but he couldn’t remember if they had ever trained in Combat Shooting Practice.

"Never, sir. This is the first time Young Miss will enter the CSD arena. And... she’ll compete against one of our top shooters..." The staff said worriedly.

"My Lord!! Who allowed her to enter this competition? And who is this top shooter that is against her?" Instantly Old Spencer’s heart sank. His granddaughter had never had combat training before.

How could she possibly get in there without training? He can’t believe what he hears now.

"If I heard correctly, Young Miss will have a match with Mr. Gavin Riddle, young master Evan’s assistant. And there’s one more person. He seems like a foreigner. I’ve never seen him come to this place before...."

"So she will compete against two shooters in an arena she has never trained before?!" Old Spencer was speechless. He stroked his chin as he thought of something. "Is my grandson-in-law also coming?" asked old Spencer again. From his tone, the old man seems to be thinking of scolding Evan.

If Gavin was here, then Evan would be with them, right?

How could the man let his wife enter the competition without any training in CSD beforehand? Had that stupid Evan Collins lost his brain somewhere else?

Old Spencer cleared his throat before thundering, "Lead the way!" Old Spencer said in a high voice, feeling annoyed with Evan. He wanted to meet Evan immediately and scold him. Once they got into the elevator, he continued his question, "Have they started yet?"

"When I went up, they were already in the arena. But it seems the Young Miss is still being briefed by Chief Jimmy."

Old Spencer nodded in agreement. His granddaughter had to be told what was going to happen there. Otherwise, she could get hurt.

But, he wouldn’t let this happen. He had to stop this shooting competition. If that stupid Gavin Riddle wanted to challenge his granddaughter, he would have to wait until his granddaughter completed her training for the arena.

But it seemed that Old Spencer had no chance to stop the competition since Rose and the others had already entered the arena by then. And when a player enters the area, it cannot be canceled until the allotted time is up.

And the steel door is the only access to the arena. It can’t be opened from the outside unless it has to damage the whole area and affect the floor’s security system. In short, the forced cancellation would risk the lives of the people in the arena.

When Old Spencer arrived at the control room, he immediately scolded Evan for letting his granddaughter enter the CSD arena without training first. But Evan’s answer surprised him.

"I’ve been trying to stop her, granddad..." Evan paused to take a deep breath. Then he looked at his grandfather-in-law with a worried look, "But you want to know what she said?"

Old Spencer listened in silence. But his annoyance still clearly radiated from his eyes.

"She said... she wanted to measure her abilities. And if she knows where her weakness lies, she will train even more so that she can become an expert." Evan smiled wryly. He knew this Old Man wanted to recruit his wife to become a professional shooter. And his wife’s words were definitely something that would make this old man happy.

Old Spencer was surprised. He thought that his granddaughter only liked to shoot and had no interest in learning other techniques. However, hearing that she was passionate about becoming an expert brought his dream even closer.
