Initially, when Noah Stone discovered Willard Harper’s crush on Rose, he didn’t really care. Because he was pretty confident that Rose wouldn’t fall for a guy like Willard. This man is not her type. Rose didn’t like Willard Harper because he was a social butterfly and was too pretty for a man. Rose likes an Alpha-type personality and an aloof man like Evan.

But now that Noah knows that guy’s true feelings for Rose, he sees Willard differently. This man is now his rival. He felt jealous when Willard met Rose in person for some reason.

"How did you meet her?" He asked calmly.

"That time, I had just finished my script-reading for my next movie at your company building. I happened to run into Rose in the lobby...." Willard’s lips curled into a faint smile, remembering the happy times in his life, meeting and talking to the girl he liked. "Man, I want to be honest with you...."

Noah frowned, confused. "Honest? Honest about what?"

"Since seeing her, I can’t stop thinking about her. I... I want to pursue her." Willard paused for a moment to see Noah’s reaction. Not seeing any rejection from his eyes, Willard continued, "Man, as a close friend of Rose, I would like to ask for your blessing..."

He was utterly speechless. How ironic was this man wanting to go after Rose? What the hell!? If this man finds out that Rose is married to a big shot in this country, what will happen to him? Damn! How pathetic this man is!

"It’s up to you. But I won’t give you any of Rose’s personal contacts. You’ll have to find it yourself." Noah smiled. This man would have no chance of getting close to Rose. If he dared, Evan would deal with him. Evan would definitely end Willard’s career. What’s more, Willard’s agency is owned by the Collins family. Just one word from Evan, his career is over even though he is currently a number one movie star in this country.

"Man... don’t worry. I have her cell phone. Well, I was planning to take her out to dinner. What do you think? Will she accept my invitation?" Willard asked excitedly.

Another shocking news that Noah Stone heard today; Willard Harper got Rose’s private number. Impossible, right?

"Are you sure she gave you her private number?"

Willard was taken aback by hearing his words. He received Rose’s business card. Obviously, the number listed there is her personal number, right?

"She gave me her name card...." Willard took out his wallet and looked for Rose’s business card. After he found it, he gave it to Noah. "This is her private number, right?"

Noah was surprised when he saw the number. It was indeed Rose’s personal cell phone. How could that girl randomly give Willard her phone number? Didn’t she know that this man was famous as a lady killer? He changes girls like he changes his clothes!

"This is Rose’s number..." Noah confirmed. Then, he took a sip of his cold beer while trying to calm his restless heart and mind. After a while, he looked again at Willard, "But man... I suggest you stay away from her."

Noah’s words were like lightning flashing into Willard’s heart. He was shocked. He looked into Noah’s eyes, trying to find out if this guy liked Rose too.

"Do you like her too?" Willard asked nervously. Fear that Noah would answer what he imagined. He would have no chance of winning Rose’s heart if Noah liked Rose too.

"Yeah. But I was too late... someone stole Rose from me." Noah wanted to say that, but he held it back. How can he express his true feelings to others?

The feeling he has for Rose he would bury deep in his heart. He would never tell anyone else. He would only be honest with Rose if that girl gave him a chance. But it seemed that chance only existed in his mind. He would never get a chance to be with her. Not in this life.

"Are you drunk? How can I date my family? Even though we are not blood-related, we are very close. She is my little sister..." Noah smirked at Willard.

"Hahaha, man... I’m just saying. There’s no need to be angry...." Willard raised his beer at Noah. After that, he continued, "but why are you asking me not to approach her? Does she already have a boyfriend?"

Noah was silent for a moment, trying to think whether he needed to be honest with Willard or not.

He knew Rose and Evan didn’t want to make their relationship public. But, if he didn’t break Willard’s hopes now, this man would definitely go after Rose. He knew how Willard was. He wouldn’t stop until he got the girl he liked.

After a moment passed, Noah said, "You know she is married, right?"

Like thunder straight at him, Willard Harper felt his whole body burn.

[WH] Rose, it’s me, Willard Harper.

[WH] I hope you have saved my number.

[WH] Can we meet for lunch? I want to apologize because for past mistakes, I made you suffer.

Rose frowned.

What suffering?

They only met once. Why did that fool suddenly say this kind of thing?

Rose read the messages many times. While cursing herself for giving Willard Harper the wrong business card. She should have given her a fake business card with Sam’s number.

And, if they met, she’d be in trouble again, right!? What if his crazy fans take their picture? She might be the target of Willard’s hardcore fans again.
