Chapter 250: A Shocked Keira Spencer

Soon two females enter the room, and they start measuring Rose. It only took a few minutes. They had got her size.

Rose and Sam sit in the seating area while Amanda and two female staff discuss something on the round meeting table in the corner. She couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but from a distance, she could see how serious the meeting was.

"Sam, I think we can go now. I don’t have much time. Evan will arrive soon...."

"Yes. If I’m not mistaken, in a few minutes, their plane will land."

"They landed! I just received a text message from him." Rose smiles while reading Evan’s text message. No wonder she couldn’t contact him, it seems that after his early meeting in Vale city, he rushed back to the capital.

Rose stood from her seat and saw her aunty finish her meeting. "Aunty, I have to go now...."

"Why so fast? Let’s have lunch together before you head back to the hospital...."

"I can’t..." Rose smiles. "I have a lunch date with my husband."

"Oh, please! Don’t show off your affection in front of a single soul like us...." Amanda shook her head. "Alright, next time, let’s meet again and have lunch together...."

"Sure, aunty!" Rose replies and walks to the door. Before she left the room, a young woman entered Amanda’s office, blocking her way.

Rose was surprised, looking at the girl. She quietly chuckled, looking at the woman who once made her jealous, Keira Spencer, her female cousin.

"Huh! Sam? What are you doing here? Is brother Evan coming here too?" Keira was surprised to see Sam in the room. She looked around the room to look for Evan, but she didn’t see him. Instead, she saw a familiar-looking girl standing right behind Sam, her head lowering, staring at her mobile phone.

"Hello, Miss Keira. I’m fine, Ma’am. Thank you for asking. No, Boss Evan is not with me. But, I came here with...." Before Sam could finish his words, Keira had already noticed Rose present.

"Y-You... I guess I’ve ever seen you before." Keira was surprised to see her. When the girl slowly lifts her head. She immediately remembered where she had seen that girl before. "Ah! I remember now. Are you brother Evan’s friend, right?" A few weeks ago she saw Rose in a restaurant, but she didn’t pay attention to her at the time because Evan didn’t introduce her.

"Kei, you come!" Amanda approached them. She asked all of them to sit again. After they all sat down, she continued her words, "You don’t know her?" When Amanda sees Kei shake her head, she smiles as she looks at Rose. "She is Evan’s wife, Rose...."

"WHAT! Brother Evan already married? Why didn’t I know about it?" Keira was shocked to hear that. She immediately settled herself in the seat opposite her aunt, but her eyes stole a glance looking at Rose sharply.

Keira saw Rose twice and noticed that her aura differed from the rich girls in her circles. The young girls around her usually compete to tell others they are rich from their clothes and bags. But Rose is different. She didn’t wear branded items, but her demeanor was enough to tell everyone she was classy.

"Little Missy! Can you let me finish my words before you talk?" Amanda rolls her eyes. After seeing Keira silent. Amanda continues her sentence. "She is Rose Spencer, your second Uncle’s daughter...."

Like hearing thunder in daylight, Keira Spencer was frozen. She can’t string a word as her tongue turns stiff. She could only stare at Rose as she felt her aunty was now pranking her.

But why does everyone in the room look serious?

Once again, Keira was stunned.

Why did she suddenly receive two shocking news on the same day? She felt like someone had just hit her head. She felt dizzy at this moment.

The first blow she hears is brother Evan married without her knowing, and now her aunty says Rose is Uncle Nicholas’s daughter.

Her aunty must be joking!

"Wait, aunty... I know you are a talented woman in many fields. But can you stop pretending you are also talented in standup comedy?" Keira chuckled as she shook her head, not believing what her aunty was saying.

"Miss Keira... What Miss Amanda said is true. My Lady Boss is Master Nicholas’ daughter." Sam explained to Keira Spencer. But, his efforts were in vain because Keira laughed out loud and still did not believe it.

"Gosh! Sam, I can’t believe you are trying to join my aunt to humor me, huh!" Keira said between her laughs.

After a few seconds, she could control herself and look at Rose. "Sister Rose... may I call you like that?"

"Sure... you can." Rose was amused looking at Keira. This girl looks innocent, and her mind is lagging.

"Sister Rose, tell me these two people are only joking with me, right?" She wipes her tears from laughing too much. "It’s impossible for my second Uncle to have a daughter. He never married...."

Rose stared at Keira with a calm expression before she said, "They are telling the truth, Keira. My father is Nicholas Spencer. If you don’t believe me, you can call your father. I met him last night with the rest of the family...."

Keira Spencer’s body instantly turns stiff, like someone just enchants her into a wooden statue.

This is the shocking big news she has rarely heard in her entire life; Uncle Nicholas has a daughter.

Can someone hit me with something hard? So, I know this is not in my dream!?

How could last night she didn’t know there was a Spencer Gathering to welcome Rose as a Spencer?

"Sister Rose, you said you were meeting my family last night?" She asked doubtfully.

"Yes, I met them all. Ugh! Well, not all of them because I didn’t see you last night..." Rose holds her laugh, looking at how surprised Keira is now. She knows this girl must be dismayed because she’s the only one who didn’t know.

"Waaah, Auntie! You also come?" Keira glares at Amanda. "Why didn’t anyone tell me about this?"
