"Did you miss me?" Evan can’t help but smile.

"Hmm..."

"I will arrive at lunch. How about we have lunch together tomorrow? We haven’t done it lately...." The last few days, they had spent much time in the hospital.

Evan wanted to take his wife to lunch together in a nice place, just the two of them, but time is so luxurious for them now.

"Sounds good."

"Use your best dress. I will pick you up around twelve...." He paused and realized his wife was now staying at the hospital. "Wifey, tomorrow I will send a dress for you."

"Alright, I’ll dress up as pretty as I can. I will make you mesmerized when you look at me, hubby!" Rose felt so happy imagining them having a romantic dinner in a beautiful place.

"Hahaha, no need to dress up, wifey! Your effortless beauty already fascinated me. No need to do anything or I will go crazy when I see you... you can’t handle me if I lose my mind." His heart raced, thinking about making love with her.

If only Rose knew what Evan thinks, she might end this call. But this clueless girl will never know.

"Gee! Hubby... can you stop flattering me with your honey words? I felt drawn in your honey pool, my dear husband...."

"Hahaha... My Dear Wife, I didn’t try to trap you. But I stated the fact here... your beauty always mesmerized me. That’s why I always felt worried about leaving you alone. Worry, someone will snatch you from me. Do you know how many men out there are ready to seduce you? To snatch you? I can’t let them succeed!" Evan pauses for a deep sigh to make Rose speechless.

"Wife, if your mother wakes up and is healthy, you should go with me everywhere I go. I can’t stand to be apart from you..." His sincere tone could make Rose feel shiver all over her body. She wishes that too; Always with him whenever they go.

After soaking in a warm bath and speaking with Evan, Rose felt much better.

She immediately wears her casual home wear; a pink sweatshirt with black leggings. Tonight she had no plans to leave the hospital, and she will sleep after dinner. She felt so tired and just wanted to close her eyes. Hoping this day would pass quickly. She can’t wait to go on a date with her husband tomorrow.

Rose felt a thrill imagining her husband would make a surprise event again as he usually did. That man always amazed her. He was so creative in making surprises for her. All this time, she suspected her husband had a love advisor. So that all of his wonders always succeeded in making her heart melt.

When Rose left the room, she saw her father sitting in the seating room area. She immediately remembered that her father wanted to talk to her about something. While earlier, she spent more than an hour in the bathroom chatting with Evan.

Now, she felt bad for keeping him waiting.

"Father, sorry I forgot everything the moment I soaked in a warm bath..." Rose softly, feeling guilty. She blames this hospital in her heart because they provide a bathtub in the patient companion’s room. It made her soak there until she lost track of time.

Nicholas smiled when he looked at his worried daughter, "It’s alright, daughter. Are you hungry?"

"Hmm... I feel hungry."

"I have ordered our dinner, and it will be served soon." After looking at his daughter sitting in front of him, he continued his words. "We will have dinner with someone..."

Rose was surprised. Who is the guest her father is waiting for? That person must be somebody significant that he allowed him to come here and have dinner with them.

"Is he Uncle Marcel?"

"No. Your Grandpa. He is on the way here...."

Instantly Rose’s heart pounded. This afternoon they just met, and now her grandpa will come here!?

Her Grandpa will be surprised when he sees her, right!?

Rose felt terrible because she didn’t say anything about their relationship in the shooting range even though she knew who he was.

"Dad, I met him at the shooting range..." Rose decides to tell him about her encounter with her grandfather. "I didn’t tell him about our relationship on purpose. Because you haven’t told him yet, and now, I feel bad because I pretend not to know him. Will he be mad at me?"

"Your Grandpa already knows about you...." Nicholas replied calmly.

"H-He knows me? You already told him?"

"After you leave the shooting range, he immediately investigates your background. It’s easy for him to get your identity and our relationship. After he found out you are my daughter, he called me right away." Looking at her surprised expression made him smile.

"Your Grandpa insisted on meeting you and your mother, so I couldn’t delay any longer. I invited him to dinner with us. I hope you don’t mind if he comes here...."

Rose immediately shook her head.

"No, I don’t mind, dad. I’m happy Grandpa knows about me...."

After meeting her Grandpa this noon, she immediately liked him. He was friendly and kind to her even though he didn’t know they were related by blood.

"I hear you are a talented shooter?" Nicholas is still shocked when he hears that.

He felt proud because his daughter inherited his talent; The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. His sharpshooting gift is now also inherited by his daughter. It makes him proud as a father, as they have something in common now. Not only do they have the same eyes and hair color but her shooting skill too.

"Dad, I’m not really sure if I’m really talented. But, I hit my target with a perfect score every time I shoot. Grandpa and the others said I’m gifted."

"That’s because you inherited the gift from me."

Rose was stunned to know that.

"And, since you show your skills in front of your grandfather, it triggers him to check your background. He wanted to find your parents to recruit you to make you his disciple."
